You wake up from a deep sleep wondering if the dream you just had was real or not. In this dream you found a new land that was wild. Few people lived in that small village you found yourself walking in. Just then a horse and a trailer came out of a side street at almost top speed. Its sudden appearance startled you awake. You look about and find yourself wondering it it was just a dream. Your eyes start to focus on your surrounding as you wake up This isn't my bed you think to yourself.
With a start, Sorrow realizes that she is no longer sleeping in her warm pile of bed furs. She scans the room before leaving the bed to ensure she’s alone, gliding over to peer thru a window at her surroundings.
You all look at where you are. I seems that you are in a room at an Inn the way the room looks. The room has for wooden walls with one small window opposite the end of the bed. The bed itself rests in the center of the wall that should have a hallway on the other side. On your left (from laying in the bed) side wall you can see a wardrobe and a small dresser containing two drawers as well as a basin and pitcher beside it. The wall to the right is bare beside the bed to the right is a door with a lock on it. You do not see any horse and wagon inside with you nor do you see one when you peer out of the window. The window itself can be opened but there is a small latch the helps keep it secure. If you swing the window open and peer out you just see a narrow alley way between you and the building next door. You can tell from looking down that you are on the third floor with the roof of the building you are in just about five feet above the window top. The building across the Ally is made of stone and it it higher that the building you are in. You can not see any windows in it from where you are at. Studying the stone wall across from you, you can see small hand and foot holds from various mismatched stones. The wall of this building is seven feet away. You can tell it is daylight outside but not being able to see the sun you can not tell what the time of the day it is. You can hear voices now and then at the end of the Alley and looking that way you can see a person or a small group of people walking past the alley on what appears to be a main avenue. Across from the alley you can see another alley and two two story buildings on each side of that alleyway. You can not see what those two building are currently. What is your next action?
Seeing nothing of importance, check the wardrobe and dresser drawers. If nothing other than my personal gear/clothes, gear up, cover up and head down to the main floor.
"Ah, Hello Millwater. I am Arashi Ikari, though you may just call me Arashi. I don't remember having a drink, or coming here. This is a strange situation we find ourselves in. Was anyone else aware of this meeting? or abduction? The room seems nice enough though. What are everyone else's name?"
*After introductions Arashi checks his simple robes for his belongings. If they are not on him, then he will check the drawers.*
~ You see an albino tiefling dressed in simple robes. (if he has his gear) A birch wand at his side and meager living arrangements. He wears a symbol pendant around his neck, (anyone knowledgeable about religion would recognize a symbol to Ilmater.) He is bald with spiraled horns stretched to the sky. Solid sky blue eyes with no iris or pupil. What skin is showing have scars up and down the body. Under closer inspection, they're not only scars, but seem to have some runic patterns. If you are near him, there is a perpetual static that emanates from him and you can occasionally see electrical energy pulsing through him. A tail hangs down from the bottom of his robes with a duel point to the tail like a forked snake tongue. Through the intimidating outward appearance he displays, there is a calmness to him.
(I have a commissioned image of him, but I'm not sure how to post that. I just changed my profile image to it. I guess that works for now.)
**If this was WoT, you’d call the cowled and covered figure that slips into the taproom an Aiel. A very tall and broad Aiel. 6’plus and the bulk is covered by a suit of scalemail and a cloak. The hood is up covering the head which sits strangely on the head while a balaclava is over the face, leaving the only things exposed as two solid gold eyes. The hands are covered by a mishmash of chain and leather gloves, the fingers open at the end to allow the overly long and tough looking ‘talons/nails’ to protrude. There is a huge greataxe strapped at an angle on the figures back, the handle over the right shoulder.**
The eyes never stop moving, roving over the room touching all assessing moving on. Light footed, gliding to the bar looking for a barkeep or steward. If one isn’t found right away, then corner a server and lean in close to quietly request one be fetched.
If one must be fetched, the figure takes a table away from the main flow and as close to a back wall as possible, positioned back to the wall. If one is readily available, there is a hushed conversation, a nod to the back table and an exchange of coinage. Whereupon the figure retreats to the table as previously stated and appears to be waiting and watching.
Soldin rouses himself to his senses, scanning the room and the unrecognised characters as he sits up, one hand resting on his forehead, fingers tussled through the frosted locks of his fringe, his other hand resting on the small of his back on the hilt of a dagger, groaning audibly he asks;
"Where the hell am I?...and what the hell did I drink?"
His piercing gaze now focussed looking from person to person, trying to make heads or tales if they were friend or foe. His his now off his forehead as he past himself down to check if anything is missing from his belongings. 'Sword on his side, check, bag of gold, check, longbow...' he breaks his gaze to search for his bow, spotting standing upright next to the window, he sluggishly drags himself off the bed and over to the window, slinging his bow across his body, he takes note of the figures in the alley and tries to make out their conversation. His hand still resting on the dagger behind his back
~For those in the room, Soldins Appearance is that of a young male elf, tall and slim. Snow white hair with azure tips and a darker complexion, his gaze ice blue. He wears darkened leather armour, hooded but sleaveless showing various markings, tattoos and scars in equal measure somewhat covered by Archers Braces and a glove on his right hand. A short sword dangles off of his left hip while his bow, slung over his left shoulder to his right hip, takes an unusual appearance. Its a Y shape, rough texture almost like a natural tree branch strung with black thread, a defining feature is just before the crux of the Y there a small offshoot with a pink flower blooming, this offshoot is adorned with unblossomed buds at almost perfect intervals. (Those familiar with Wood Elves customs would know this bow is taken from a tribes sacred hometree, pink flower meaning it's a summer tree) - (Those familiar with archery would be able to tell the small offshoot functions as a rangefinder and the string is Deepstalker thread, stronger and more durable than regular bowstring).
You all arise out of the bed and check your items They are all here with you or in your backpack you find under the bed The wardrobe and the dresser do not contain anything in them the basin is damp but not wet. The pitcher is full of clean clear water that is a tough to the cool side but not cold. After retrieving your items you all head for the door. As you open your door you see a blank wall across from you looking left or right you see staggered doorways on the sides of the halls and a closed door at the far end. There looks to be stairs heading down on the other end.. You all see each other poking their heads out at the exact same time.
After introduction you all head down to the main level by passing the second floor which appears the same as the floor you were on. If you check the closed door on the ens of either hallway you will find it is the privy, As you make your way to the bottom of the stairs you will see a large room with tables and chairs taking up most of the room, On the left side you can see a bar and a hearth that is warming the room. To the right you will see in the corner a small stage for anyone who wishes to preform for the crowds. A few of the tables are already taken up by what appears to be common folks getting their breakfast before heading off to work, There is a slender lady behind the bar and a couple serving girls making their way around those seated to make sure they have the food they had ordered and to make sure they have what drink they need next.
*Arashi wanders over to the bar and orders a water*
"Good morning, What may we call you? Could I just get a water? I seem to have had an interesting evening last night. Do you know what happened here last night?"
A tonsured, long white haired figure in a robe and vestment is clasping a book to his chest and peering down at the floor, trying to slip between you to the stairs. ‘Veeshal’ he calls out softly/timidly as he tries to slip between the press of bodies ‘and please excuse if your toes I step on’. His voice is somewhat gravelly. A warhammer is slung at his belt as are several daggers.
If no one stops him, he’ll descend to the taproom and look for a table.
The one covered head to toe does a double take and stares a minute thru narrowed eyes at Arashi. Nodding at him, it speaks ‘dvoyuridnyy brat’ in a obvious female voice then proceeds to follow Veeshal downstairs.
After taking a long drink from the pitcher, I clean myself and head towards the sounds downstairs. I head over to Arishi. I make the sign of Ilmatar by crossing my wrists.
-a cat like figure in a saffron colored robe, twirls about as he takes in the room. (Whats the energy of the room and it's inhabitants)
"My gluttony has gotten the best of me apparently, please forgive my transgression" "Last thing I remember was trading a bottle of wine from the Dionysus monastery after evening prayers"
(Check if I still have the bottle and if I drank it up)
"This does seem more like a meeting than an imprisonment or punishment, but what for?"
Veeshal will approach the barkeep and ask for mulled wine, three eggs on a trencher covered with gravy and a plate of bacon. He’ll then look for an empty table out of the main flow of traffic. If the Aiel has landed a table he’ll try to land there. The Aiel will inquire if they have Bitterberry or the local equivalent of coffee, if nothing then will request a pitcher of mead and waits for the rest to descend.
Arashi walk to the bar The bartender smiles at his approach and responds to him saying "You may call me Relitha, I do not recall anything happening last night It was just your average night but I do not remember you coming coming in last night," She serves you water in a mug
Millwater You do not have the bottle and it was not in the room. As you approach the bar the bartender will ask what you would like to drink.
Veeshal walks to the bar and orders food and drink The bartender serves you a mug of mulled wine. You then turn and see an empty table that is not far away and move over to it to sit down.
As Millwater orders the same to eat as Veeshal one of the servers passing by tell you that it will be out momentary The Barkeep calls over and says, "I do not have bitterberry but would you mind a hot tea or wine?"
The rest of you head downstairs and over to the table that has enough room for all of you. Once you are downstairs and seated at the table one of the serving maids is bringing out the food that was ordered. She will look at you all in a puzzled way before speaking, "I do not remember any of you coming in yesterday or last night, and here I see you all coming down from upstairs. I do believe you woke up here and the rooms have been paid for. This is quite puzzling." she moves away to serve others in the room.

What do you do now.
I investigate my surroundings, to see if I recognise anything from my dreams, trying to make my way towards that 'dream village'
Arashi looks around at the surroundings. What is that horse and carriage? He will observe it to see what they are rushing to, or rushing away from.
Millwater leaps off the bed! Turning all the way around surveying the place. Stowing and trimming my gear as I move. What do I see?

*Arashi looks at the robed figure and speak in infernal to them as well*
"Cousin? Oh right.... I don't meet many others of us out in the world yet. Good day. It is not often that I get to practice this tongue."
*acknowledging Millwater, he give a slight nod*
"Are you a follower of Ilmater as well? I'm new to it myself, but learning their redemption."
*He takes a sip of water, and then plays with it swirling it around in the air (with shape water).*
I try the door handle, carefully if unbolted, I approach the Inn keep,
"Good morning keep, did you see me last night, I had my fair share of Ale, my memory seems to be foggier than a cold autumn's eve"
Millwater's ears perk up at hearing the order for eggs and bacon, and a drop of drool drips from his mouth.
Calls out to innkeep,"I would like the same with a cup of bitterberry. I am famished! "
I look up to Arashi "Ilmater, Tyr, and Thron are the foundation of my order!"
Overhears the halfing at and says "I do believe we are in the same situation"
Arashi walk to the bar The bartender smiles at his approach and responds to him saying "You may call me Relitha, I do not recall anything happening last night It was just your average night but I do not remember you coming coming in last night," She serves you water in a mug
