We don't normally put new books on the changelog but for the Italian Player's Handbook, we're just too excited not too! Also, there's a significant amount of changes we have done to the marketplace to be able to support a translated book that it warrants a changelog.
You will now see a featured border on the marketplace that tells you it's available.
You will see a new section on the Players Handbook that allows you to add the Italian Player's Handbook Compendium to your cart.
You will also see a link in the main menu to the actual compendium content.
If you speak Italian, check out our new landing page for the book. If you don't, you can switch the language at the top to English.

I understand that the Italian version of the compendium is a separate purchase, and is not included when one buys the whole book. But I wonder, if a book has different language compendiums, can one choose a language when buying the whole book? That is, if a new user wants to buy the whole PHB set, can they just buy all non-compendium content plus the italian compendium (without the english) for the same price as previously the PHB was without the italian compendium? Or would they need to pick and buy each section separately, possbily costing more than just buying everything?
In general: in the future, if books will have different language compendiums, will there be an option to select which language compendium to buy with the whole package, or will the whole package always contain the english compendium, leaving the other language compendiums a separate purchase?
I would appreciate if there was a way to hide this book in the menu. I have no interest in purchasing this compendium because it is in a language I don't understand, yet it now resides almost at the top of the menu. I feel like the list of sources is long enough without having options in it I wouldn't even consider using.
Is there a way to hide this book on the sources? I can't speak italian
I'm not a big fan that t's in the menu when the locale ain't set to anything from Italy, I feel this is more of a bug then a feature to be honest! I'm also sad that it's a separate purchase, but I do understand why.
I think thats great for the Italian players, but how can it be removed or hidden from the English menu?
I myself am from a non-English speaking country and I think it is great that you are introducing these D&D books, However I would prefer it if there was some way to filter the amount of books within "Sources". If you guys are introducing more and more books this list will be ridiculously long, the font will have to be 4pt to see the entire list. This is not sustainable. I am assuming you know this already, still I would like to mention it.
I think it would be nice if we could customise the list by "hiding" sources - or at least hiding sources we don't own. I get that it's for marketing reasons (to encourage spending money in the marketplace), but there's a lot of us who won't buy certain materials no matter how often it jumps in front of us, and just find it annoying and distracting instead. (I would personally prefer a global switch to disable not owned material to turn up in searches, listsings and the character builder...)
Came here to suggest hiding this, see that's already been suggested.
can i instead suggest a toggle to hide sources not of our preferred language as we have to give this in our profile.
Not a good idea - that would hide practically everything for people whose preferred language is not english, including sources that has no other language versions. The way it could work is to hide materials not in the preferred language if there is a version available in the preferred language.
But then again, it would be way simpler and more useful to just hide sources that are not bought by the person.
Will there be a translation of books or site into other languages? Russian for example
