A search for "cure wounds" results in what appears to be every page that contains that string. It would be nice if one of the top hits was the description of the spell, like it is on the website.
If I go to "My Account" -> "My Content" and click on what appears to be the download icon (a cloud with an arrow pointing down), nothing happens. If I click anywhere else a source's area, it prompts for a download.
It seems counter-intuitive that clicking on what appears to be a download button is the only thing that does not start a download.
If I go to "My Content" and download a book from there, the cloud icon does not change into a check icon until I leave that page and return. It should change to a check icon as soon as the download is complete.
The search feature is buggy and leaves a bit to be desired. (Obviously more functionality will come but in sort, I cannot search for spells or magic items like on the page).
However, on the buggy part, when I try to search, the app will freeze for 2-5 seconds on each word or partial word. I can't be certain if I have typed out the word correctly until it's too late.
I’m having an issue where I am unable to search after searching. If I back up to the original search screen from the page I had looked up I am able to search again. I’m on IOS.
Not having any trouble on my phone (Android 6.0.1), but my tablet (Android 5.1) won't complete any downloads. It seems to crash, and while the content appears downloaded (the bookmark symbol appears) after restarting the app, it crashes when I click the source or I receive an error message about trying again on an active internet connection despite being on my home wifi. After trying to reinstall on my tablet, I'm also now receiving a login error.
Additionally, both versions appear to redownload the manifest.json file each time they're launched, which doesn't seem intentional or economical.
I've got the same problems with my phone. It's android 5.1 too.

@mightybrain @Glumalon try to reinstall the app and BEFORE login go to your D&D Beyond account (via web) and look for your Mobile Devices tab, remove the devices and then try to login.
I went to go look up some stuff in the player handbook over the weekend from the beyond app - I kept getting something like "you don't have this on your phone" which it would then try to download, and then close. When I would try to re-open the player handbook, it would just do the same thing again. Same with the basic rules.
I was able to look it up fine from the webpage, but never managed to actually get it to work from my phone (I have the android version).
** As a note: after posting I saw the fix above me, and that did work and allow me to download the PHB. **
I cannot download the mobile app, the link doesn't work for me. Please PM me to verify my information, I made a mistake on my google address and ended it with charter.net instead of gmail.com
Since I still had the first email, I used it to resubmit with the corrected email address for my google account, waiting to see if that works.
To everyone working on DDB - you folks are AWESOME! Thank you for letting us all into your beta! To the community - thank you for being the friendliest I've ever experienced in a forum!
I'm not really sure if this counts more as feedback than a bug, but it's annoying so I'll report it anyway. :)
When I open the app I want it to be at the exact place I was when I was last looking at the app - I'm using it right now to read through XGtE and when I open the app it starts at the Compendium. This wouldn't be too big an issue, except when I go to the XGtE book it takes me to the top of whatever section I was last reading. Because some of these sections are very long I then I have scroll down a lot to find where I last left it. I would love it if it remembered how far down I was in the page I was looking at, letting me continue reading right where I left off.
If you have a book open, and the app is closed (not just suspended to background, but actually terminated) the app remembers where you were in a given book. Unfortunately, it doesn't remember the navigation stack you used to get there. So if I'm in Index -> XGTE Index -> XGTE Warlocks, when the app restores, the navigation stack is Index -> XGTE Warlocks, with no XGTE Index in the middle. Which means it's not impossible to get out of warlocks; a left swipe takes me back to the book index.
Curse of Strahd View foreword button gives webpage not available The webpage at ddb://compendium/cos/foreword-ravenloft-revisited could not be loaded because: net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME The same happens trying when pressing view cover art with the link changing to ddb://image/cos/images/cover.jpg

Edit: looking further into it seems to be any link or picture I click on that gives me that error.
I'd mainly been using the app with only XGtE downloaded, so I decided to download all of the other rule books (mainly to see if links between books would magically appear whenever the text says "See X in the Dungeon Master's Guide" or something like that). Every book I clicked on gave me a warning that I wasn't on Wi-Fi and that I'd be using cellular data to download, but I was actually on Wi-Fi. They all downloaded quickly without issue.
I then switched to the Adventures tab and pressed The Lost Mines of Phandelver. This moved the book to the top of the list, but it did not show a download progress bar. I pressed the book a couple of times but it didn't do anything. Later that day on a new launch of the app the book was downloaded and working correctly.

iPad Pro 10.5 running iOS 11.2.1. In Storm King’s Thunder the majority of words have the ending “s” in bold. This applies to most, but not all nd I can’t see any rhyme or reason to it.

I get the same thing. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. It will ask me to download content 3 or 4 times, but then after I get into the index, it won't let me get to any of the content.
