Hey, I DM a campaign for 6 players and we all use the website to manage chars. Which is great!
I would like to have an overview table where I can see some of my player's stats. Like AC, saves, HP, passive perception, etc. That would be very helpful for designing encounters or just running the game.
I'd like to throw in another vote for a feature that enables Master Tier users to elect which content is available to players. Specifically, I want campaign players to have full access to all of my content for the purposes of building their characters. However, I do not want to provide access to the adventures, Monster Manual, and possibly even magical items.
I'm currently hero tier and am waiting to upgrade to Master subscription once this is implemented.
I user the Scrivener app on my Mac and like Scrivener I enjoy how the Adventure Modules on DnD beyond had links to the DM's Guide and quick pop up windows to access info on books that have been purchased. It would be great if creating a Homebrew campaign we can setup links to reference some to the books, their pages or even a paragraph. Also to be able to create links to Character sheets we have create for NPCs and such.
- Another thought is a virtual table layout of where my players would be sitting at the table and their initiative, stats and conditions.

This is already confirmed and in the works. We will have it when it's out, but there is no timeline publicly available.
As it is now I merely use the D&D Beyond campaign manager as introduction for the players, kind of a splash page of instruction and information on building their characters. As for an actual campaign manager I am currently using Microsoft OneNote, so it would be great if the updated campaign manager had the same capabilities. In OneNote I link to all my D&D Beyond content. I dedicate a page for each area/room in my dungeon, and then within the page I will list monsters, magic items, etc., then I link to the item on D&D Beyond, so all I have to do is click and that information pops up. I also link to specific songs on my Spotify account for my mood music. And of course I have pages dedicated maps and such. So, that's what I'm looking for.

This has been suggested repeatedly and I cannot up-vote it enough. This is the #1 feature I would use
I'm very excited for combat trackers and encounter builders. Ultimately I think that the D&D space is missing a robust version of this the most. That being said, what I REALLY want is a DM view of the party. Basically somewhere in the campaign page a row per character that displays current level, experience, HP, AC, Saves, Passive skills, death saves where applicable. Just something to have at a glance so I don't have to always ask for these things or keep track of them separately. Also this would need to update automatically.

I didn't realize someone asked for this just a few days ago, haha. This exactly, would be amazing. I keep a tab open for each character right now, which is actually pretty OK because the character names are the tab title. But still, a non-tabbed overview would be much more efficient.

Yes, this would be lovely! I DM for a group of 6-8 players and having one tab open for each is annoying. :)
I recently subscribed to the Master Tier in order to share resources with players.
A dynamic content sharing management tool, down to the specific player permissions level, would be exceptionally useful.
The binary choice of "share all of my stuff or not" for each campaign is frustrating for any number of practical reasons or personal preferences. I'd like a management tool that allowed me to make global, campaign, and player specific permissions choices. And I would like to be able to change those permissions choices as I see fit.
e.g. All my players in all my campaigns get to see the PHB, but for the 5 minutes I feel like it, Jane and Joe Player get access to the MM. Or the DM's guide, etc.

This is on the road map.

Roadmap meaning "the plan they have for the future". If you watch any of the Dev updates on Twitch you can hear them discuss things that are upcoming. They set no dates, so as not to disappoint people if they fail to reach any of their projected dates. It is already being planned as an improvement to the campaign manager, and will release when it's ready.

Obviously this has been discussed at length since beyond officially launch about a year ago. This is the #1 thing that keeps me from subscribing to master tier.
As a DM the allure of beyond is not having to babysit my players character sheets. If it's on beyond with the campaign restrictions I set, then I would know it's good and I don't have to scrutinize them
The fact that this wasn't prioritized at launch is baffling.
Also when are they going to support Adventure League legal characters, especially with the idiot Season 08 rules.

And how are you ensuring players aren't using things outside of your campaign restrictions when they're on paper? I trust my players. When I say "don't use xyz" I don't have to babysit them to ensure that, and the same can be said for my player who is still using paper sheets.
It'll be a great boon once this is active so I don't have to make a list for my players, I can just say that the campaign has the restrictions built in, but it's not like this is something you can get through your non digital option. Their first priority was to make it as seamless as using paper at the table, which it is.
Fair enough. At a minimum though thy can specify in character creation where a specific options (feat, spell, background) etc is coming from. As it is now you can choose one resource or all of them. They you have no idea where they are being pulled from unless you look it up independently.
This is very true, I agree with you. I especially wish that when you looked at options homebrew items were clearly marked. Would save me a whole lot of headaches.
UA has a written UA logo besides the options... homebrew is literally a small house logo besides the things... if you are asking which options is what.. then yes its already there and as been, since races have been added.
the only place its not cleraly written is... in the actual classes options. a place which i would love to see the same logos besides the options.
otherwise, in the race selection... a small house means homebrew, a small UA logo means its unearthed arcana. it is clearly well written.
