Ok, just want to make sure i have this correct. If I were to purchase all the core books along with the supplements offered here (including the tortle package) it comes up to $189.93. Will this reduce the amount of the Legendary Bundle by that amount if i decide to later go all in on the adventures? if i buy one or two will that also bring it down to a point where it makes it worth buying the LB? Or should i just save up and get the LB?
EDIT: For clarification, I thought Tales From the Yawning Portal was a soucebook and not a bundle so I was not including that one in my original purchase.
Every dollar that you spend on content within D&D Beyond is discounted from the cost of the Legendary bundle, so you can work your way towards the bundle, without worrying that you will lose money by doing so. :)
And waiting for a "sale" just reduces the amount you are credited towards it. So if was to buy now and then a sale comes up, even less i would have to spend...hmmm, might be buying stuff sooner than i thought.

I just want to tell everyone "happy gaming" and actually mean it. Whatever your game is, just have fun with it, it is after all, just a game.
It is a slippery slope! I saw the cost get cheaper and cheaper as I bought more, and then one day I looked and thought "I could pay that". Now I have the legendary bundle(#noregrets), and it has been amazing for both my DMs and groups.
ok, how about subscriptions? If I go with the Annual Hero and then decide that i want to run campaigns and share my stuff, will i get a discount to move up to Master or do i have to buy it again?

Hey, I didn't see if this was covered, but I bought a hard copy of Xanathar's Guide and was wondering if there was a way to use that to unlock the digital content here? Or would I have to purchase the digital copy separately?

Thanks!
I am just going to steal the signature of Cee who posted above you. In short, the answer is no. The linked forum post will explain.

One of the mods will come along any moment with a link to the support folks, I'm sure. I imagine they would prorate what you've already paid toward the master sub.

This is covered in detail in the very first post of this FAQ thread.

I don't want to disappoint, so ....
If you have a query or issue about billing or purchases, please head over to the D&D Beyond support site. The support team will be able to assist you with this matter.
Also worth noting that there's a permanent link on the foot of every page "contact us"
so i kinda get why WotC is making you buy the Books AGAIN just to use their content on here seams a tich greedy but eh, i don't make their polices but say you buy a Digital copy from other legal sources, will there be a way to link that Copy to your Beyond account? if not could you give us any insight as to why Wotc won't alow that?

Post moved to this thread, where the topic has been discussed.
*sigh* why not make a Rule about not asking this then? seeing as how you guys don't want to answer this
seeing as how nay real Qestions will be pushed into this 'don't wanna talk about it" conner why are they asking you to charge the Price for a full book and not at like.. 75% of the Full cost

There is no rule against discussing this, however there is little point in initiating a discussion that has already occurred a dozen times or so on these forums, when I can move your post here and you can read the discussion that has already happened, to see the varying viewpoints on this.
Discussion may be continued here and likely has more visibility than your original thread would have.

Check the thread in my signature, it will help explain it. if this doesn't help, you can PM me. I'm not a mod, i have nothing to do DDB, but i do get it.

Couple things... The people to ask about the legal and financial decisions of WOTC are WOTC. Email them. Often, there is a confidentiality clause that locks at least some of that information away from the eyes of us consumers.
The Player's Handbook is listed at $49.95 on the WOTC website. You can buy it here digitally for 30 bucks. Mathing that out comes to 60% of the Full Cost. BadEye and the Curse went to bat for the consumers to get that pricing okayed by WOTC. And when the pricing here was announced, it was simultaneously dropped at Fantasy Grounds.
Question for my own knowledge. Are you able to use your roll20 purchase on fantasy grounds? Or any other vtt platform? People keep asking about using their physical versions, or other sources on dndbeyond but can you use any of the other platforms on any other? Don't you have to buy each one separately just like you would with dndbeyond?

They are all separate purchases - you are not able to use a purchase on one site to gain access to another site.
That's what I thought. Was thinking of it more to show how this argument doesn't make a lot of sense. It follows this same practice everywhere else but people still argue it. I can't use my physical books to get the material on roll20 and I can't use my roll20 source to get material on fantasy grounds. Why do people expect dndbeyond to be an exception?
Sorry if this was on another thread, but thought I would finally ask... as I could not find a direct answer
Re: With the Master Tier limit on 3 campaigns and 12 players.
If I was to complete, or end a campaign series that I had purchased, would I be able to start another campaign?
Or does this count as a campaign and once used that slot is taken up?
And is there any thoughts to offering more slots and players if used for Adventurers League content clubs?
Thanks in advance, be well, be safe, and happy gaming!
DM Veitch.
The limit for content sharing is 3 current campaigns.
If you disable content sharing on an old campaign, that frees up one of your slots.
