After that, she enjoys with a satisfied sigh the comforts of the moment, such as a nice bath in hot water... inviting the other female members of the group (so Amanises and Mal), if they wish, to join her!
Amanises gracefully accepted Khessa's invitation to indulge in a soothing bath. As they entered the bath area, she playfully quipped to Khessa, "Ah, my dear Khessa, I must confess that I haven't partaken in such earthly pleasures as bathing in quite some time. My celestial nature tends to keep me immaculate, but I'm more than willing to make an exception this time. Magic has always proven to be a versatile tool, with uses beyond just destruction."
Without her typically restrictive and heavy dark armor and robes, Amanises exuded an almost divine radiance as she stepped into the water. Her armor's purposeful design then becomes more evident. Her chaste nature clashed strongly with her alluring physique which created an appearance as though she had been sculpted to perfection for the purpose of charming and loving. Given her divine heritage, this was somewhat unsurprising, albeit unusual for someone of her character. Amanises turned her attention to Khessa and Mal, if present, and remarked, "This is likely to be my last bath for centuries to come, and if I were to venture a guess, our last bath during this entire adventure. I doubt we'll find such an opportunity again."
(DM: For items if it isn't too much trouble. Amanises will want to buy a few gifts for the party. For Akkron an item of disguise, for Khessa a Ring of Spell Storing, for Mal a Cloak of Elvenkind, for Dabbert an Amulet of Health, and for Olem a Spellbook Cover for thematics as I don't think he needs anything or rather I can't think of anything he'd need. :P)
Akkron will avoid going to the market... the last thing anyone needs right now is panic from the locals and, by extension, possible advance warning for the dark elves who may-or-may-not be Drow under a different name.
That being said, he will go ahead and relax in the (male) bath/sauna for a while. He spends some time cleaning out the dirt and dust from between his ancient bones, making sure that his skull is nice and clean, and moisturizing the skin that still clings to his arms. Though some might wonder why he doesn't simply get rid of that last bit of flesh clinging to him, there actually is a practical explanation: some spells require flesh from the caster as a material component. Most notable of those being the clone, as unlike most other liches he does not have a phylactery. Though also unlike most liches he doesn't need to consume souls to sustain himself. So in his mind it was a reasonable trade-off to forego creating one and come up with a more unique means to immortality.
He sighs as he sinks into the water. He really needs to get a sauna installed in his fortress.
"It's just to make sure we have some privacy while we rest and refresh..." the tall adventuress explains "No one will be able to spy on the inn now - let alone this room - or teleport into it. Just to avoid eviction surprises while we are relaxing!"
Khessa then summons the power of the Weave again... and this time the effect is clearly visible: a set of ointments, soaps and perfumed substances appears out of nowhere, next to the tub of water hot - pink Epsom salt, lavender extract, aloe juice, camphor oil... plus other more exotic and less known, but invariably mysterious and fragrant salts or extracts.
"Things are either done well or not done, right?" the blonde arcane warrior winks "You'll see Amenises, this will not be your last bath for centuries to come... Taking care of yourself is an experience you gladly get used to! Please, use or try whatever you like!"
A final arcane ritual closes the preparations of the tall adventuress; a patient invocation at the end of which ... her two new friends begin to feel an invisible but gentle force slowly and carefully massages them.
"You know, I don't like having people as servants," Khessa explains, "because it makes me feel uncomfortable... But magical servants are a different matter altogether!" she smiles "Besides, they are patient, obedient and tireless... Let's enjoy our moment, my friends!"
And so, the blue eyed woman heads towards the tub. The hot steam that rises from the water already makes her anticipate an almost ecstatic pleasure. Her magical staff is temporarily leaned against the wall, next to the tub, in the company of the menacing big weapons she keeps as backup and her full backpack, all carefully guarded by the impassive Alfred.
The armour, which she now wears so often that it almost feels like a second skin, is also removed and tinkling placed next to the weapons. Sitting down, the blonde arcane warrior takes off her high boots with a satisfied sigh, tossing them to keep her armor company. It's not much she's wearing yet… and she won't be wearing it for much longer: after she's stripped off everything, the tall adventurer steps into the hot tub one foot at a time.
"Wonderful!" Khessa murmurs, feeling the warmth of the bath creep up her legs. She adds a little scented salts and essences and a sweet fragrance immediately wafts in the air. After which she descends to a sitting position, finding herself immersed in steaming water up to her neck. The blonde arcane warrior lathers herself lazily, enjoying the sensations and narrowing her eyes as the indefatigable magical servant massages her from behind.
The sight of the incredible divine heritage of Amanises makes her sigh for once... What would it be like to be like that? So... perfect? So... radiant? So... eternal? The blue eyed woman has always had, and she is aware of it, an appearance that promptly attracted attention, but she certainly doesn't hold a candle to that celestial creature! 'No comparisons', however, she remembers. 'It's not a competition. And I've had so much that she may not have had... My husband Jasper loves me for who I am. And my children too! And my family also! Perhaps, when they look at me with the eyes of love,' she admires the celestial form once again 'they see me like that!' and a radiant smile comes across her face.
The tall adventurer slowly tilts her head back, so that the thick golden locks fall back into the water and are cleaned too, massaged, soaped, rinsed and combed by the magical assistant, while she playfully toddles with her long legs and, in an unprecedented moment of serenity, she giggles like the little girl she had once been.

Olem won't miss the chance of a bath. This is a rare comfort at the bladegarden. Those there would notice the abundance of scars scattered all over his body, head to toe. Those practiced in medicine see that some are just surface wounds, cuts made with a clean knife. Those practiced in necromancy see that others are not cause by phisical harm but rather magical corruption given a physical manifestation. Akkron, allow me ask where you found the secrets of Lichdom? He pauses before that word and speaks it with a profound seriousness. He does not like it very much. I know you certainly did not learn it in the Gravegarden.

Akkron pauses in scrubbing his bones for a moment.
"How did I discover lichdom?" he repeats.
He seems lost in thought for a moment... trying to recollect distant memories and put them together into something coherent.
"In all honesty... I pieced it together over several decades. I don't know how much of my story you have already heard... but..."
He pauses, his dead face unreadable as ever. But... the black mists that surround his body seem to trickle down from the edges of his eye sockets. Like tears down the ancient skull.
"I did it... I did it for my daughter. She was taken from me by the Drow, and I couldn't let the simple passage of time grant them reprieve from my vengeance...."
The corpse trails off and lets out a strange, unearthly sigh. Then he turns his attention to actually answering the question.
"The Ritual of Becoming was not something that I simply discovered in some forgotten tome... or that I made a deal with Orcus or Vecna to obtain, if that's what you're concerned about. I collected bits and pieces of knowledge over the course of many years, from my master's notes after she met her unfortunate fate, the forbidden sections of various archives, and forgotten manuscripts I found in the lairs of dark mages that I fought against on my path of vengeance. Honestly... when I finally performed it I had no way of knowing for sure if my makeshift ritual would actually be able to revive me or if it would simply put me out of my misery... I performed it out of desperation, when I knew my mortal life was nearing its end before my work was complete. I am well aware what you likely think of me, and I don't entirely disagree... I did quite a few things that I am not proud of leading up to that moment. It took me some time to truly understand the depth of my folly."
"I'm uh...quiet. And I try to keep my name that way." Dabbert says to Olem with a slight nod. "But it is good to meet the both of you."
His smile is wry when Mal nods toward his halberd.
"As it shall be." Is all he says about the halberd, but he smiles as he says it. When they're done, he goes out to find supplies with something specific in mind. He's quiet for the rest of the evening when he returns, keeping to himself, keeping contemplative, turned inward. Somehow stoic and sad, self reflective and detached from the rest of the party. He has a drink and enjoys the quiet.
Dabbert goes shopping for a Pyroconverger... Because his player has always wanted to try one out...

Oh, well, interesting scrolls might be (listing all, but fine if not all of them are found):
As Mal enters the bath Khessa and Amansis can see that there are scars that crisscross Mals body almost from head to toe.
"Not sure I have ever had the luxury of using a bath, I typically just jump overboard or use whatever river water happens to be close by." She says as she gets into the water, an unexpected sigh escapes her lips as she enters the hot water. "Though after today, I think I will enjoy these more and more." Turning to Khessa, "You spoil me."
Amanises joins in with a soft, melodious laugh as she listens to Mal's words. She echoes Mal's sentiment, "Indeed, Khessa is quite the gracious host, spoiling us beyond measure. These earthly pleasures are to be enjoyed in moderation or I fear they will become a habit."
Amanises notices Mal's scars but chooses not to comment on them out of respect for the half-drow. Mal will speak of her personal experiences when she is comfortable with them. With a serene expression, she leans back in the warm water, fully savoring the soothing embrace of the bath. It's moments like these, shared with newfound companions, that remind her of the simple joys that existence can offer.
There is hat of disguise, but its 6000gp; The ring of spell storing is 20,000; Cloak of Elvenkind is 2000; the Amulet of Health is 3000; and the Spellbook Cover is 500
(DM: This is all for the party! I will spoil them rotten.)
Khessa is impressed by the poor half-drow's collection of scars, and comments, jokingly, but in a sweet and affectionate voice: "Well, it seems like you really need a little spoiling". Then, turning to Amanises, she adds: "and from what you told me before, I believe that you too are entitled to recover some of the overdue attention!"
"Oh, I also adapt very well..." the blonde arcane warrior focuses back on the half-drow "I have bathed in streams for most of my life, having been born in the countryside and, unfortunately, then living as an adventurer" she instructs her summoned masseur to try massaging some of her new friend's scars with a little aloe and coconut oil, to soften them and give her relief, as well as relaxation. "But in the end, my experiences as an adventurer have also brought me some rewards... like discovering all these wonderful substances, for example... and even the right spell to create them! So, why not put all this to good use? It's true that wizards (you know, I too, in a certain sense, am a wizard) live for the lure of the knowledge - but knowledge is not bound to be an end in itself! It can almost always have an use (and very often has more than one)".
"It seems like you too have had a difficult life" the woman's blue eyes look affectionately at the assassin. "And, unlike me, you've had little access to magical cures... which don't leave so many scars. I'm so glad you made it out alive... and with your soul intact. The worst scars are often not the ones left on the skin. Have you ever thought about... quitting, with our life of danger? Maybe getting married and have children? Or at least simply getting a peaceful life?"
(OOC: @TerranImperium: the gift is awesome! Will you role-play Amanises giving it to us? Or shall we assume Amanises gave all this to us before, during the shopping session? Asking just to know if I should role-play Khessa's reaction already or not yet...)
Olem answers to Akkron. I do no know you much. I am speaking to a skeleton, with all due respect - and be assured, there is lots - I, who's existence is built with the purpose to hinder the creation of your type. But if what you say is true then i do not worry at all. Especially not while we have a common interest.
Akkron feels a bit of relief at the other wizard's words.
"I agree entirely that filling the world with powerful undead would likely be disasterous. I have told more than a few young wizards that they should really enjoy the lives they have been given rather than waste their time trying to find a way to extend their existence for eternity."
Akkron sighs as he sinks deep into the pool, savoring the sensation of the warm water soaking his bones.

Khessa, during the magical-shopping session, comes across numerous spells that she had not yet had the opportunity to perfect and willingly purchases them.
After that, she returns to the inn and invites her friends to enjoy the pleasures of the bath together (OOC: And the bath scene takes place)

"Have I had a difficult life, sure, more difficult than others, probably but then again also not as difficult as some. I have made the best life I could have made from the circumstances that I was dealt or handed to me. As I so often say, it is what it is." Mal responds to Khessa inquiries.
Mal's eyes lose focus, staring at a blank spot on the wall then she continues, "As for eventually quitting, someday, maybe, but I am not so sure the fates will deal me that card. I am too good at what I do and I know far to many skeletons in peoples closets. Also, the target that would be placed on someone's else head from my past life.....Yea, not sure I would except putting that one someone else." With that she fully releases all the tension in her body and truly relaxes, a feeling she very rarely ever gets to do.
In the hours leading up to their departure for Eosia, Amanises took it upon herself to select thoughtful gifts for her newfound companions. She knew that their journey would be perilous, this was the least she could do for them. She gathered them for a few moments at the inn they had been staying at.
With a sincere and warm smile, Amanises addressed her companions. "Before we embark on this journey, I want to express my profound gratitude to each of you. We hail from diverse backgrounds, positions, and motivations, yet we have all come together for a shared cause—for perhaps the first time in history. We have assembled to aid our distant brethren on a faraway continent, and I couldn't be prouder of all of you. I want to convey that sentiment. May the Moonmaiden watch over us."
She approached Lord Akkron first, extending a slender hand holding a modest but stylish Hat of Disguise. Her eyes sparkled with humor as she said, "Lord Akkron, in your hands, this enchanted hat will grant you the power of illusion. You can change your appearance at will, people need not look at you in fear anymore."
Next, she turned to Khessa, a moonlit smile gracing her lips as she offered a Ring of Spell Storing. "Khessa, your fighting capabilities combined with your magic are a true marvel. This ring will enable you to store and unleash spells at the perfect moment. May it serve you well in our coming journey."
For Mal, the reserved half-drow, Amanises presented a Cloak of Elvenkind. "Mal, your stealth and cunning are already remarkable that there was little to offer. This cloak enhances your natural talents, like a final touch to an already magnificent piece."
To Dabbert, the stalwart and humble soldier, Amanises offered an Amulet of Health. "Dabbert, your strength and courage inspire us all. This amulet will fortify your constitution, we would not want your old knees to fail you in the middle of our adventure now, would we?"
Finally, she approached the stoic Lord Olem, with a finely crafted Spellbook Cover and a Ring of Regeneration. "Guardian of the Gravegarden, May this cover protect your spells and notes, and the ring hasten your healing in times of need."

First, the blonde arcane warrior begins a mysterious ceremony, which includes musical chants and the simultaneous manipulation of a few small components.

"I really need to get a sauna..."

(OOC: Thank you!)
