As the small band stumbled out of the tavern having secured both monetary and moral victories, another diminuative Halfling pads round the corner woth walking stick (staff) in hand looking oddly out of place in the urban setting.
"Sorry lads, I took a wrong turn back-a-ways and spent the last little-while arguing with some street vendor about the manner in which he displayed his wares. He was a rather sloppy chap."
Said Milo with a wry smile.
"Did I miss anything?"

Sorry team, I could not figure out how to join the thread. But your Druid is here now. Short though he may be.......
I've obviously yet to learn to properly use "the spoiler." Learning curve engaged!
Found in the thread where DM said he was fine with moving the scene to next morning. Anyone know where we are camping/staying?
Before sunrise the next day, Milo was up and examining the trees local to the area. The world was often the most still just before dawn and if he was lucky he hoped to see perhaps a deer or fox or even a great horned owl moving through the morning stillness on its way to bed down for the day.

The great thing about PbP is that we don't have to limit ourselves to specific time windows. Just take your action and wait for the DM to respond.
I'm having fun. A few post-formatting issues that will resolve as we all get more familiar with the platform, but other than that great!

I briefly considered having Gridolpho turn his back for his final throw (intentionally taking Disadvantage).
At the risk of creating an alternate timeline, let's see how that would have went.

Gridolpho offers to parley his winnings by putting up half the cost of the Cartography Tools on two conditions.
1. An extra share of the 100gp reward for the maps.
2. He doesn't have to do any of the drawing.

Not a morning person, Gridolpho is slightly bleary and cotton-mouthed, but otherwise ready to snap into actions
