I need some assistance with using digital maps on a tv but playing locally.
The combat slows down because I am moving everyone, PC, NPC, and monsters, try to color code all to not confuse. We really enjoy the map as combat reference and scale and distance.
What can I do to speed up the game and movement and placement on the map, or if you have another idea for a digital map option please let me know.
However, I do not want a physical map, mostly because of the fog of war. I use roll20 the free version and I really enjoy it

I use roll20 as a digital map for in-person games as well. I've found the advanced hotkeys (https://wiki.roll20.net/Advanced_Shortcuts) handy for speeding up operations like moving tokens from the GM layer, switching the the drawing tool, or using the ruler to show distance. Being able to quickly switch back to the object layer ('o') and select mode ('s') without mousing over to the side menu helped make token movement more fluid for me.
Another handy thing I just found out about recently: you can add a number to the token status indicators (https://wiki.roll20.net/Token_Features#Status_Indicator_Overlays_.285.29). Instead of using different colour dots to distinguish each enemy of a particular type, I can just mouse over the red dot (since it's closest) and hit a number on the keyboard. If I need more than 9, then I can start with blue 1, etc.

Thanks in advance.
maybe something like this: https://pluralinput.com/
It supposedly allows your computer to have multiple mice and mouse cursors.
There may be other similar products or software drivers out there.
Couple this with a USB hub and a pile of wireless USB mice? That way everyone can move their own markers?
