in my campaign i have a shadowy king of all evil monster fighting a paladin his warlock partner uses magic to rip out the "core of evil" from the shadow
He shrinks to human size and runs off and the core of evil jumps into the palidin and hh turns evil and starts to reck the city, the pc's come in here and they to stop the palidin rips there souls apart and scaters them
The pcs wake up far away feeling week.
Shadow helps them to start to peice there. Souls back together for his own endgame resonds
They go along some ways and now they have typhling and aasimar sisters joining them (adopted sisters)
And hete is where the problems start for my pcs
I thought it would be a cool idea to make the aasimar (jasmin) a were wolf. And the pcs would gain here trust and she would tell them. Thats not the real problem, i also thought a homebru debuf was a good idea...nope i was wrong
she feels guilty for here deads as a wolf so she cand deal killing blows.
But that is contradictory, because she loves being a were wolf. Eating goblins, random traviling bards. Something i was going to have her say when her secret came out was "well noq that you know...if you have a body that needa to disapear im allways hungry"
Yes i know im secretly a twisted person.....
Anyway....
The pcs hate her for that guilty debuff I have been trying to get rid of it like if they ever figur her wolfy ness out she can talk to them and feel less guilty.
By the way i homebrud an enchantment that lets you controle yourself as a lycanthrope.
Another problem i have is trying to wrangle my own story
The shadow is one of many elemental titans althow he dosent remember because if they die they get re encarnated with amnesia and regan there memory when they regain their previos strenth
but the light titan split herself into 4, 3 cores (like the evil cores but good) and her contioncness like she shadow will be reveild to have done
But the end goal is the pcs to defeat the being that can perm kill the titans and stops it from disfroming the ballance of the ellements.
Im sorry if this post is messy or its in the wrong area of the forum but its hard form me to post on my phone......
Okay so I got the gist I think. If I am reading this correctly you have two issues.
1) An NPC/PC (I am not sure which) has lycanthropy, it sounds like she has embraced it, if so her alignment should have changed, it sounds like however, a spell is artificially altering her personality to be what it was originally just twisted a bit. And the PC's do not like her guilty conscience that the spell is causing her.
2) Your epic storyline is spinning massively out of control.
I am going to try and solve these two problems, if I misunderstood or interpreted then I am sorry and please let me know and I will help any other way I can. That said, I think you can have these problems solve each other. You sound like you are looking at the overarching adventure, the quest for the creature that keeps killing the titans and to restore them to their former glory. I assume Shadow is the sentient core of the Dark Titan and the Core of Evil in the starting was one of his three cores. So let's break this down.
Something has been killing (and I assume feeding off of the Titans). In order to break this cycle of death, reincarnation, death. At least two of the Titans (you didn't say if there were more) split themselves into parts. The titans of Light and Shadow being dark mirrors of each other split into;
The Core of Darkness/The Core of Light The Core of Evil/The Core of Good The Core of Chaos/The Core of Order
As well as a core containing their individuality. They then scattered the parts of themselves. An unintended consequence of this being that the Cores took on the form of trinkets/items of power and are corrupting those who carry them.
So from this information, we can glean an overall plot arc. Find out what is feeding on the Titans, stop it, gather the cores, and revive the Titans. These steps do not need to happen all at once or individually. That said, to get this started and to solve problem 1 (removing Lycanthropy from Jasmin, or at least the guilt she feels over her actions), Aasimar are basically the celestial versions of Tieflings so we can say the Core of Good when it scattered across the world found her and instead of manifesting as a physical item is instead manifesting in the guilt she is feeling over her actions. Finding some way to remove this Core would both remove the guilt and give the players a step along the path towards finding the other cores and restoring the Titans. To this end, I recommend the following.
If the PC's are spellcasters they need to gather resources and research a spell or ritual that will allow them to exorcise the Core of Good from Jasmin, and find a suitable vessel to contain it. If they are not, they need to quest to find a suitable vessel for the Core of Good and then a spellcaster strong enough (medium to high-level cleric or necromancer I suggest) to perform the exorcism.
Once the PC's have the Core of Good then it can act as a compass to the other Cores as well as a homing beacon to The Opposition (Don't know the name of the force hunting/killing Titans). That turns this into a series of McGuffin hunts which can take the form of dungeon crawls, and social events like winning the favor of royalty to get them to give you the core, to a heist where the players have to break in, steal the Core and get out without getting caught.

I ment i was twisted not jasmin, but i guess she kinda is.....
And yes there are other titans
Ice fire nature water and more.
Um i think the thing trying to kill the titans will be like the titan of nothingness or null or somthing like that.
And to anser you she is an npc party member. And she does have a remove cures spell but she was born with lycanthropey (born with it means you need a djinn wish or deity to remove it)and thats why she was an streat orphan adopted alongside the typhling.
There adoptive parents are a gnome couple runing a magic creature shop/ books ,pets, ranger bonds ,and stuff so thats why she has the sanity spell on her the gnome father reconised lycanthropy becaus 1 wize gnome 2 the region their in is calld lycan planes and the town is called lycan town, so most of the towns folk have the same spell on them if they didnot get cure first.
As fore the cores the pcs have two of the light cores in them(i have two pcs) but the other 1 i will put it in her, its a good idea.
And the dark cores are treachery. Nefariousness and debauchery.
As my backstory whent the shadow re encarnated as a elf/half ork
but he got ahold of the treachery core and betraide the other core holders that he was working with and then he got his memory back and terorisd the world untill the warlock zaped him also wiping some memory from him.
The palidin has debatury, nefariousness is in the shrine for the shadow. And i might put the treachery one in someone the pcs would not think to, or want to kill, or looks week the BOOM shadow magic and stuff.
Oh yeah the pcs are a greedy hotheaded black dragonborn warrior named thrisk
And a foul mouthed half elf ranger that uses heavey weponds along with a bow(he did not train for hevy wep pro) named .....link......botw anyone?
The truth is the pcs wanted girlfriends so i added shana(the typhling) and jasmin(the aasimar) but i made them part of the story so they where not just some girls. the pcs wanted some fun alonetime with them, but they got plot aswell....(win win i guess??)
Shana was traped in a shop in an elven forest forced to work off her crime (burning some of the town down with fire magic) as a shop keeper with a magic barrier holding her in the shop so thrisk said he had evil magic dragon blood so he cut his han smeard blood on the barirrier and after about 5 faild dice rols broak shana free.
They found jasmin in a cave leading to a moutan top playing chess with an inteligent bear, the pcs stab the bear and the continue on to the mountan top fin a small yeti gaurding a dragon egg. they kill it and they leave jasmin there to watch the egg and when they got back.
i gave them hints, like the yeti corps had been striped of flesh with some broken bones and fang marks.
Also in a ruin i placed two amulets when near an amulet, even if its in a bag of holding,
one forces lycanthropes into hybrid form or animal form
And the other keeps them out of hybrid and animal form (the pcs found this one and did not finish the ruin, so they dont have both. It also keeps them from turning even with a full moon out)
They are geting realy impatient. We where playing another campain and the joked about her geting mauled by a hellhound. Then i asked why they said she is useless and that i need to "dm magic" that she never had any guilt.
Ill give them insentive to go to a place, that just hapends to have something/someone that will remove it.
but now my pcs are just waiting one region to long.
So my idea is to show them that its not a vidio game the evil villan is not waiting just behind the door in the final level for months waiting so he can monalog. Im bringing the evil to them
Or at least some of it.
I dont want them geting overun by unstoppable evil yet wile their still barly lv 6.
But too be fair i mesed some stuff up at the begining. I did not know most of the rules and they started with 40 hp and i hold their hands tomuch.
Im also going to give them alot more npc quests and tasks to do it will keep them entertaind and fillthe world with life so that they are not alone in the world of reclandar.
Wat ch think people? Does this soundgoood? Or am i off my rocker?
