So I had this idea the other day for the draconic bloodline. Basically I thought "what if there was an option as an 18th level draconic bloodline sorcerer to have a breath weapon instead of draconic presence". Draconic presence has never seemed that cool to me, although I recognize it's usefulness. Having a breath weapon is THE most iconic thing about dragons not just in D&D but everywhere. I personally really want to feel more dragon-like when I play. So I figured maybe using the breath weapon of the dragon who was your ancestor would be really cool. looking in the monster manual, it looks like the breath of a young dragon of your type would be appropriate damage at that level and it would work similarly to draconic presence where it would cost 5 sorcery points to use.
I am well aware of the spell but I feel that being required to use a spell thats not part of my class for a DRAGON THEMED class to be able to breath fire really bothers me so I just tried to find a way to make it part of my class

Good or bad idea? Any thoughts appreciated.
There's the Dragon's Breath spell that works well for this.
