Share Your Dice Results with the Brand New Game Log!
We’re excited to announce that D&D Beyond users (desktop AND mobile app) can now share their dice roll results with other players in their campaigns. Celebrate your high rolls in real time with your friends, even if you aren’t in the same room!
Within the Game Log, you’ll see what action you or your campaign members rolled, the result of the roll plus any modifiers, and a visual of the dice set used to roll. That’s right – you can now let your party members see your character’s personality roll through with the dice set you’ve enabled!
You can find the Game Log on the character sheet of a character that’s in a campaign, on a campaign’s main page, and within Encounters.

Awesome! Looking forward to more iteration and development of this feature :)
I wonder how long (or perhaps "if") before they get this to feed into the Play By Post forum? That would be a superb step up if they could fully integrate the built-in character sheets with that forum.
Paying real money for virtual dice sounds like a scam...
I can see that I've been given the dice according to the "Marketplace" tab in my account settings but I don't have access to the dice in the My Dice Collection. I've refreshed the page, logged out and back in and I honestly don't know what to do. Does anyone have any other advice for me?
When are you going to be working on the beta combat tracker?
How do we turn it off? It's annoying when it keeps popping up rolls when we play with our dice. So now I have digital dice I've paid for that I can't roll without annoying people.
No more than buying books. Personally, I love both my books and dice on D&D beyond. I also like my real-world dice and books. I happen to use all of them so I find buying them no big deal. I now have five sets of virtual dice. At this rate, I will have as many dice sets virtually that I never use as I do real dice. lol
I agree. I think they should acquire Foundry VTT. They seem to be a perfect match.
Used the new 'dice log" for a session on Monday. As a DM that truly misses being around the table top, it helped so much. I have been waiting for this type of integration for a while and it did not disappoint one bit. Well worth the wait, Great Job!
How did you run the session? Just curious...
I think it would also be helpful to enable rolling on a Campaign page (for DM rolls).
i can do that been playing over 40 years
I suspect D&DBeyond is moving closer to Playstation VTT game style instead of releasing the EPIC BUILD characters and other elses.
Please allow it to be toggled on / off as it currently messes with the Beyond20 rolls to Roll20.
This is useful thank you.
You should apply. They are always looking for new perspective
so you're graciously giving away these dice to people who pay, but they are free for anyone smart enough to google? lol nice
if you turn off the dice in DnDbeyond, and just use the Beyond20 dice links, then it works fine.
Although the game log doesn't work properly when using beyond20 either (but that's not DnDbeyonds fault, or problem)
Seeing in-app dice rolls would be cool for monster stat-blocks and adventures. Like when you are on the D&D Beyond app or just on the adventure page online, you can roll the dice when a prompt shows up. idk
Now it just needs an option to turn it off if you don't want the notifications. So distracting.
