Hey all, to keep things relatively brief I'm currently playing a decently high level artificer with the armorer subclass, and noticed recently that my 9th level subclass ability just straight up does not work at all. It's a pretty big feature that's missing from my character, since I would have the ability to augment and customize my armor even more that I already can, which is something my character is very interested in. I have searched around and apparently this has been a known issue for almost 3 years, and I just wanna know if there is any plan to fix this issue in the foreseeable future. Thanks in advance! :)
Unfortunately there's no sign of this getting implemented properly anytime soon.
Easiest way to deal with it is to just create the extra items you need for any boots, helm and/or weapon and just rename them on the sheet to something that makes clear what they are (and set their weight to zero, since it's built into the armour's weight).
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.

Thanks so much for the help!
