I recently created a set of modular terrain that was 3D printed. It fits on a 1" grid, has removable doors/portcullis, and snaps togetehr without magnets or clips... super easy for building maps or encounters on the fly.
They look really good and clean from the video, just curious how visible the layer lines are from the 3D printing process? Assuming you are using a filament printer for these? At the moment I only have a resin printer which is great for minis but when it comes to terrain the build plate is a little too small, plus for snapping terrain the resin isn't particularly flexible so could snap a hinge after a little usage. have been tempted to get a filament printer for this purpose but struggling a bit with space at the moment.
Thanks! There are very minor layer lines on these prints but I only used 'standard' quality (0.2 layer height), I found if you use a primer/filler on FDM prints too the lines are way less obvious.
I tested a similar scifi set I made with the same snap feature in resin too - The detail was great with zero layer lines.

Suggestion and feedback welcome :)

BTW, I've made these available to download here
