So, the new Bilgewater adventure gives us the path of the depths, which is based off Pyke from League. I like the idea of a savage, scarred monster hunter like Pyke, or someone who has been blessed by nagakaborous. What are your ideas?

Use the Arms of the Deep Manifestation, so when you use Dredge Line you can attempt to grapple your target twice (once per appendage). If both succeed, you can use your Attack action to grapple the target two more times (once with each arm). That's 4 instances of Grappling, all rolled with advantage because you are raging. In order to escape, the target would need to pass 4 contested Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks against your Strength (Athletics) checks, which will already be a difficult undertaking. If they do succeed breaking free from the Barbarian, you can use Ghostwater Dive to catch up. Assuming you're playing as a Medium size creature with an average movement speed of 30ft, with your +10ft bonus from your Fast Movement feature and the 30ft you can Ghostwater Dive, you can traverse 70ft a round (without using the Dash action) and use your free attack with Ghostwater Dive to attempt another grapple on your target.
Also, you don't have to have a hand free to grapple with your Arms of the Deep, meaning you can hit a double-grappled creature with a two-handed weapon.

The loxodon race allows for this currently as well, grapple with your trunk then swing away with a 2 hander.
Immediate thought was a Simic Hybrid. You could use the class to explain the racial traits in a world without hybrids, or use the class to RP as a more advanced version of the race. I've not really considered the mechanical aspect too much, but it could be fun to take the Simics carapace ability in combination with the PoDs Armor of the Deep for +2 AC.
Not sure if the bracers work with a shield do they? A shield, con of 20, and the +2 from the traits could get you 19 AC at level 10 without magic items or dex though. 21 with the bracers and damage resist from rage would be pretty nice. Probably a bit low on strength and not as durable as a Bear Totem Barbarian though
Something about that idea makes me think of a super buff level 20 Simic Barbarian grappling a Lich or some other super caster. Just feels like bullying!

Just buy a large heavy chain. In one side place something you could easy handle it, and in the other side place a hook. What funnier is using the hook to grapple enemies and the chain like a ferris wheel...... hehehe ( if you understand what I mean ).

Thresh is a champion from League of legends. He is a person from the shadow isles, who was once a keeper of tomes before the isles were the shadow isles. When they did become the shadow isles and everyone was killed or changed, Thresh became an undead creature, with a ghostly chain he uses to kill his enemies, then stores their souls in a lantern.
If you want to know more, go to the League of legends website. Hope this helped!

Probably not, the Adventure wasn't up long and it was free, so DDB wouldn't have any reason to unless riot pushes it/offers money to do so (maybe when the mmo releases? a huge amount of dnd players play mmorpgs from what i know). There might be pdfs on the Internet of it though.

3: Realize I am playing scorpion from mortal Kombat
4: have my dm ask me to leave after the fifth shouting of Get Over Here
Choose Loxdoon as your race and grapple everything at once.
Make a ranged build and abuse the hell out of the fact that they forgot to give Ghostwater Dive a usage limit.

Yes. Combine it with bracers of defense and shield, and your ac is sky high.

I mean, a con of 24 at level 20, means that you will just be too hard to hit. Grapple them, make sure that they can't hit you.

Will this ever come back to D&D Beyond?
I'm sad that i missed it and it looks like a really fun class.
