I initially thought they didn’t give Barbarians much in Tasha’s, not that Barbs needed a big buff. But this one slipped by my notice. Combined with Fast Movement at level 5, this one you get at 7. It essentially lets you move.a total of 60 feet (for most races) when you enter a rage.
The ability isn’t sexy, but it’s effective. Usually you rage in the first round of combat, and by now you have advantage on initiative. It mitigates those times you rage, charge in, and have to throw a rock at something to keep your rage going. Also, often the DM rightly sticks the spell casters way in the back so they’re harder to get to.
It’s also thematic. You get pissed and charge in like a madman.
Instinctive Pounce
7th-level barbarian feature
As part of the bonus action you take to enter your rage, you can move up to half your speed.

I really think that between this, the extra skill proficiencies, and two very cool new subclasses Barbarians were treated quite well by TCoE
