I have a homebrew class setup with a number of options. At level 1, you gain two options, and then an additional option at 6, 10, and 14.
The issue: If the character is at level 1, he has ONE option (not two). If he's at 2, he has both level 1 options. At 6, everything is as it should be (Two level 1 options, one level 6 option) and it stays this way until 9. At 10, one of the level 1 options is gone, with one of each level (1,6,10) and at 14 it goes back to being as expected (1,1,6,10,14).
Haven't found a convenient work around yet. Assistance appreciated.

I think you have to add "level 1" twice in order to give the players 2 choices at that level.
