I have a homebrewed elf subrace one of my players is using, and in order for it to show up, obviously I have to select to allow homebrew content on the character creator. When I do that, I also see several other homebrew races that other people have created that I don't know anything about. I guess my first question is why are just those particular homebrew races appearing out of presumably hundreds or even thousands of other homebrew races that have been published? And my second question is this: Is there a way to limit the homebrew content that appears in the character creator to just content that I have created or added to my collection?
I do believe that stricter control over what content is being chared within campaigns is on the long-term goal list for D&D Beyond. It's definitely possible that at some point we'll see the ability to turn on and off homebrew sharing on a more granular level. I'm totally with you, though, on not wanting to see my other players' random homebrew creations. 😜

That is likely homebrew shared with you through a campaign. I don't believe there's any way to restrict it.

I'm not in any campaigns though, just the ones that I've created. Well, bummer.
