I was attempting to create a spell that allows the caster to designate targets and either deal damage or heal them. I got everything done, set all the conditions, wrote out the description, specified advancement, everything. However, I noticed that if I wanted to specify how much the healing is increased by, or if it heals at all, I must write it in the spell's general description. It isn't that big of a deal, but when setting modifiers, among the hundred or so other options, it is strange to not see Healing, Restore HP, or even Grant Temporary HP as options. Am I looking under the wrong options, or do these options not exist?
Bonus Hit Points is literally what Healing Word uses. Not that it really matters much, as at the moment, casting any spell that modifies hit points, whether they be temporary or not, has no effect on the character sheet. So even if this is technically incorrect (though I think it's more like 'has both functions') it is still how the function currently is enacted on the back end.

I guess I'll do this for now, but I would like to be able to make heal spells lol
Actually, when you copy the cure wounds spell you see that the system DNDbeyond uses for healing is the one mentioned above. Bonus hit points is the correct way of making a custom healing spell!

Me: Okay, what did you have in mind?
Party member: I set everything on fire.
Actually, I found it. For anyone else looking for it, it is under bonus, and the modifier subtype is Hit Points.

This doesn't work. Doing this is for adding more/max hit points. Not healing/restoring hit points. Anyone know how to do this for real?
Has a solution for this been yet?
