Currently, one of my teen players has created a halfling barbarian Beast subclass, and has outfitted them with a greatsword and a greataxe. When he uses D&D Beyond character interface to roll to hit by clicking on the attack button, the interface does NOT roll two dice and choose the lower number. Please, at least make this an option somehow that the GM can turn on or off.
This is an option if you right click/long press the attack button; you'll see a 'disadvantage' toggle.
This isn't applied by default/always on for small creatures with heavy weapons because the sheet doesn't know if your character also has a source of advantage, cancelling the two. In fact, the sheet doesn't force advantage or disadvantage anywhere, it simply provides flags where appropriate and possible (such as with skills)

Ahah! Thanks, Davyd for this information. Problem solved.
