Any statblock I save (so either new or old) displays it as having Actions, Bonus Actions, Reactions, Legendary Actions, and Mythic Actions. Even if I don't have any text in the sections, and they are unticked.
I think its caused by a single space that is automatically put in each text box, i can delete it but when i save it comes back resulting in the issue above occurring when i go to look at the completed statblock
If anyone has a fix or if its a known issue the devs are working to fix, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Do you have any extensions on your browser? I had this issue as well, and it was driving me nuts. It turns out one of my extensions puts a script in texts boxes, so that it can function as intended. I didn't realize this until I used the source code browser </> in the box editor. Now, I keep the extension disabled until I need it, and I haven't had the issue since.
The space in my editors usually doesn't appear a second time after I remove it. Though, it is weird that there is a space in the editor nowadays. I've don't remember it being there a year ago.
Also Jubslazm, what extension was the one that caused your issue? The extensions I have are adblock, highlighter, honey, malwarebytes, teleparty, watch2gether, google docs dark mode, and return youtube dislike.
Okay. If it's not saving changes to fields, and especially if the red button still says [Create Monster], there's a good chance that you left a required field empty. There are many required fields for a Monster. You will need to make sure all these fields have something in them; once you do, click [Save Changes]
Monster Name
Monster Type
Size
Challenge Rating
Armor Class
Passive Perception
Hit Points Die Count
Hit Points Die Value
Average Hit Points
STR Score
DEX Score
CON Score
INT Score
WIS Score
CHA Score
After that, you should be able to tick the boxes and remove the contents.
And again, this is why it's better to use a monster as a template rather than start from scratch.

You need to tick the box(es), then delete the contents, then Save, then untick the box(es), then Save again. (Yes, it's a pain.)
It often works better to start from an existing monster as a template.

already tried this, it worked temporarily before reverting. Also this issue extends to reactions, bonus actions, etc so i cant untick them

I checked the source code browser and theres nothing there so not sure what else to try.
