I already submitted a support ticket for this, but wanted to make sure I am not missing something regarding billing...
I received a notification that my account did not auto-renew because the system "failed to collect payment". Probably because the sub was using an old card or something. It happens.
I saw here on the forum that the only way to update payment info is to unsubscribe and resubscribe with the new payment method. I tried clicking the "Start Trial" button - again, it goes to the "failed to collect payment" page. Okay, so I click the "Cancel Subscription" button at the bottom of that page, below the little pseudodragon... and the page throws a generic JSON error. :|
Is it really convoluted to manage my subscription? I'd love to be able to see my current subscription status, start and end dates, and method of payment >>> including a way to quickly update that payment method in a friction-free manner. I would also very much appreciate a subscription renewal notification at least 30-days prior to expiration. I could've updated the payment info at that point with no issue at all...
Or is there another way to handle the subscription renewal process that I may have missed?
I opened a ticket with support which didn't elicit a timely response, then kept going back into my account to see if I could un-sub/re-sub with the new payment information. I can't remember specifics, but it did take a day or two before I was able to get re-subbed. I think they must have a daily integration that has to process the termination/expiration of the subscription, and only then can you get re-subbed.
Being a software/integration engineer myself, it felt like a timing issue... but there was never any direct solution or interaction provided by support other than to acknowledge me when I said I finally got it to work. :D
Hope that is of at least some help. A

Anything that deals with payment information has to go through support.

Thanks - got it sorted out.
How did you resolve it? Support has been incredibly unhelpful for me...
