I'm making a stat block for a monster that wields a staff of power. I wanted to use the new "Saving Throw Bonuses" section of the homebrew builder to display the monster's extra +2 bonus to all saving throws, but when I filled in all six saving throw types with 2, then saved the monster and reloaded the page with its stat block, the monster was suddenly proficient with all six saving throws despite me only giving it proficiency with the mental saves. In the homebrew editor, the "Saving Throw Proficiencies" box had been auto-filled with all six types. Removing the erroneous proficiencies doesn't work because they get re-added when I press the save button unless I remove the bonus to the saves the monster isn't proficient in.
The monster has 13 STR, 16 DEX, and 14 CON, so it should have a total of +3 to STR saves, +5 to DEX saves, and +4 to CON saves once the +2 is added from the bonuses section.
That’s a side-effect of how it was implemented. That bonus always applies on top of the proficiency bonus. You can use a negative number, though, it you need to reduce the total.

That's... a bizarre way to implement that. Good to know I can use negative inputs as a workaround. Thanks!
