Looking for any thoughts on how to fix this issue I am encountering within DDB.
I am playing a Circle of Spores Druid, Fairy, in Witherbloom college (Strixhaven)... Fairy automatically gives me Druidcraft, Circle of Spores gives me Chill Touch automatically at level 2, Strixhaven Initiate (Witherbloom) gives me my choice of 2 cantrips from Spare the Dying (this works), Druidcraft (duplication) or Chill Touch (duplication)...is there any way to simply select a different cantrip in place of one of the duplicated Chill Touch or Druidcraft cantrips? If we were playing this on paper id just go around this (with DM approval) and other spell duplications are automatically removed so that an alternate choice can be made here on DDB, but I cannot figure out how to get around this particular duplication within this system.
You could switch to prismari or quandrix since a lot of the witherbloom spell list is duplicated in clerics and druids, so you get less benefit even though they make it seem like the best choice for druids. LOL. Prismari gets you a better fire cantrip and prestidigitation (and haste is on their spell list; plus your feat spell could be dissonant whispers from the bard list) and quandrix gets you mage hand (and guidance which you have access to) and guiding bolt and aura of vitality on spell list. Plus, witherbloom has the weakest of all the mascots, if you plan on getting one. I do like witherbloom for wizards though.
This is probably the wrong subforum for this question, as by default a repeated cantrip is just a repeated cantrip. There is no official "fix" for this because it isn't broken. As Foodgeek recommended, the solution is to plan your character without duplicate automatic spells.
For the most part, features that give you spells give you particular spells (with rare exceptions) and would tell you if you were ever allowed to replace them or change them. This is unlike proficiencies from, say, backgrounds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Couple of ways.
Create a homebrew background copied from Witherbloom but giving you 5he two cantrips you have agreed with your dm.
Creat a homebrew feat giving you the extra cantrip.

Food, Scifi/fantasy, anime, DND 5E and OSR geek.
Create a homebrew item with your preferred cantrip attached to it and equip it.
