So according to the new book Lance should be 1d10, however when I want to homebrew a weapon based of a Lance or just add a regular Lance to my inventory, it is still a 1d12.
Further more, homebrewing a weapon has become more difficult. Before you just had to base it of a weapon which has the same dice roll that you wanted your weapon to be, but now there is weapon mastery. Just like the weapon die, you're unable to change this property.
I would like to see this freedom in customization. where, just like the Replace Damage Type modifier, we have a Replace Damage Die and Replace Weapion Mastery modifier.
Or better yet, have the freedom to create a weapon from a blank slate, we're able to create custom actions, that let you choose a damage die, combine this setup with an equipable weapon setup and done I would say
