The Dragon Slayer includes a damage modifier of type "Additional" which does not show up in the Magic Item homebrew UI when creating new items. If you clone this magic item and then change that particular modifier to one of the standard damage types, e.g. "Acid" or "Lightning", and then go back to edit the modifier the "Additional" damage is similarly missing.
Two ways to accomplish the same thing (more or less), and both depend on the specific base item that you are applying Dragon Slayer to:
Option 1: Use the option for "Bonus" modifier type, select either "Melee Attacks" or "Ranged Attacks" depending on the weapon, set the die count/type to 3d6, and put "Against Dragons" in the details box.
Option 2: Use the option for "Damage" modifier type, select the damage type of the specific weapon (Bludgeoning/Piercing/Slashing), set the die count/type to 3d6, and put "Against Dragons" in the details box.

You don't know what fear is until you've witnessed a drunk bird divebombing you while carrying a screaming Kobold throwing fire anywhere and everywhere.
That makes sense, and I've seen similar techniques used in other cases. I was more just curious about why there was that option in there when it doesn't actually exist in the application.
