The new generic/universal features system that is currently in development aims to allow this to function properly. As is usual, D&D Beyond gives no ETAs, but this will be shouted loudly across all social platforms when a fix is in place.
In the meantime, a workaround is to make a homebrew copy of the particular Sorcerer subclass, and then when the character reaches Sorcerer 2, edit the homebrew to change each of the two 1st-level Spells to a list of the 1st-level spells the character could swap to, based on the feature description. Then do the same with the two 2nd-level Spells at Sorcerer 4, etc.
It's not ideal but will do the job.

Is D&D Beyond gonna fix the spells selection for aberrant mind and clockwork sorcerer soon?
