I see icons in some of the items in my characters’ inventories, but can't figure out what they mean, or how to utilize them or how to change Locations.
I'd really love a "Location" for "Camp," "Mount," and "Packhorse" so I could assign things to those places without them counting against my encumbrance.
Also, it would be super-spectacular to be able to put things into containers, like Backpacks, Pouches, and Sacks.
Can they at least add selectable or addable fields so we don't have to do it in our mind any more. This is a fairly easy data field ask.
Well tes, but actually no.
Can they? Yes. Will they? Eventually.
It should be a fairly simple task (add "create subdirectory" and "move object to subdirectory" functions within the inventory manager), but who knows how neat (or not) the code is on these character sheets. It probably isn't as simple as we think because we don't know their systems or code.

Wouldn't it?

Location is where that item gets worn or equiped on your character. It is so you can make sure you don't wear 3 hats and mismatched gloves and boots.
Containers (and hopefully non-carried locations) are planned.
But how do you assign a location to equipment in the first place? I'd like to assign some to my backpack, a dagger to the left side belt, etc...
you do it in your mind
