I used point buy (how well did I make the stats?).
I like the idea of a grave cleric using a bonus action to cast spare the dying, and then action hop into your shell. Any other ideas? Also how good does this seem?
seems about as good as every other cleric build except the option of going into your shell (can make for a good doorway block that might give 1/2 cover to anyone behind you).
fyi, you're 450 pounds, you should think through how to calculate damage if you jump down onto someone and, if you just sit on them, what their strength needs to be to get you off - and how that all works. we have a tortle that loves getting up on tables/barrels (if they don't break under his weight) and pouncing on people....or just rolling over small and tiny creatures. many-a-splatter has been made by that tortle.
While everyone can of course do anything in D&D, Grave Domain seems an odd fit for me - tortles have very specific traditions about what they do at the end of their lives, no ancestral focus (the idea being they pass on the knowledge before death) and being nomads wouldn't actually have grave sites like most other races do.
Hiding in your shell is great for keeping concentration up on a buff, but your allies won't thank you for missing out on Sentinel at Death's Door (no reaction) and potentially Keeper of Souls (if DM rules you have no line-of-sight while inside your shell)...
If you want to lean heavily into shell-hiding, maybe consider Knowledge Domain? It is perhaps the most tortle-aligned domain (knowledge gathering being central to their culture) whilst also tying into any fatalistic character ideas you have (since knowledge gathering is for their circle-of-life tradition), and to balance low-activity combat you will have a lot to offer outside of combat.
Wait... Just had an idea for an ANNOYING tortle cleric.
@Vorsa, I see your point for the Grave Domain, I didn't think it through lore-wise, and was mainly considered with action economy (I was thinking BA soare the dying, hop into shell, BA hop out next turn, cure wounds on fallen creature). But that's kind of ironic with the Sentinel at Death's Door feature.
Light Domain.
Here me out, the Warding Flare is a reaction that doesn't impact your allies like Sentinel at Death's Door does. So this would be highly defensive, and the goal would be, whenever your not in your shell, to impose disadvantage on the attacks hitting you. So you either have an insane AC, or your attacker has disadvantage, that could make the cleric super tanky.
Oh btw the lore would be that the tortle is worshiping the MOON. Because they are more comfortable when the sun or moon is watching, and the free light cantrip could be seen as it carrying it's own personal moon.
I just started a Unity subclass Tortle boi, and he is a great tanky force of Great A’Tuin. So far the most busted thing I’ve found is casting Spiritual Guardians, then next round self-cast Sanctuary as a BA and turtle up as an A. Wait it out with 23 AC and WIS save protection.

Noone has ever seen the possibilities if you get ALERT feat ??? It specificly says....
Other creatures don’t gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of being unseen by you.
This it means if you use your action to hide your extremities ( head, hands & feet ) inside the shell, and you previously cast an illusory spell, you cannot be surprised nore DETECTED, unless they cast a spell or have a high passive Perception ( WIS ) check to detect you. Which it can be translated into a ""the more disadvantage they earn, the more advantage you get by being undetected"".
Having a Tortle Follow the Moon is also thematic with Native American legends, especially the lunar calendar being on the shell, thirteen scutes for the thirteen moons of a year and 28 segments on the edge of the shell to mark the days of a moon

A tortle cleric sounds awesome, a big turtle blasting divine light into enemies faces, but how good would it be?
A tortle gets a base AC of 17, matching Half Plate or Splint armor, and gets WIS and STR boosts.
I had this ides: grave domain tortle cleric
14 STR, 12 DEX, 14 CON, 8 INT, 16 WIS, and 11 CHA.

Does someone have a character sheet / character build site for the Tortle Cleric?

KEEN MIND is also a good choice here.
