There is a system in place for this! Rather than adding the Warhorse to her Equipment, she can navigate to the Extras pane of the character sheet and click Manage Extras:
... and then Add an Extra > Mount > Warhorse.
Then the Warhorse will appear in her Extras pane, where she can see its statblock, customize many aspects of it, and track its hit points!
Yes, as Zhell says, your players will (likely) have to make some edits in the homebrew monster builder. They can start with the base mount as a template, and change only what's needed. You can customize only to a point from the Extras pane, perhaps most notably here the AC and max HP:
If you want to go more in-depth (increasing proficiency bonus, etc.), the homebrew tools will be your friend. :)
First, thank you for creating this great system.
My player asks if there a way for her to see a picture of her mount in her equipment list? Right now, it just says "Warhorse."
Thank you!

Thanks so much for your prompt reply!
I allow characters to level up their mounts (if they live long enough LOL). Is there a mod for homebrew mounts?
Thanks,
