Currently (From what i can see) There is no system in place for people to make custom gods. I would love to see a giant page of gods from throughout the deity spectrum evil-good. Greater lesser. Creator god or even an ascended mortal. Hope to hear from you -Josef
You can type any god you want into your characters description field under 'Faith'. That's all you need to do for a 'homebrew' god, there's no mechanical benefits.
As for seeing "giant page of gods from throughout the deity spectrum evil-good." that's in the Player's Handbook under Appendix B - Gods of the Multiverse
I think he meant that you should make a feature where you can design your own gods/deities to use as extras in your campaign or as characters that someone could play.

The homebrew monster tools exist for making deities your PCs can fight. That's the only way I can think you could play as a god within the rules of D&D that DDB supports
No I don't mean play as a god, I mean make gods with like favored weapons and traits and domains and stuff on DND beyond in a homebrew section so you can see other peoples homebrewed gods and or pantheons.

The homebrew tools are strictly for dealing with in game mechanics, and Beyond does not support homebrewing campaign settings, lore, flavor, and fluff.
If you want to browse homebrew settings, lore, flavor, and fluff, I would just browse the D&D Wiki and read about real world myths and legends.
