I GM around a physical table, using digital tools to help run my game.
I've used various initiative trackers, but they're all limited to SRD monsters only; that's why I love DDB Encounter Builder
BUT
If I add multiple enemies of the same type, I need a way to label/ID them. My minis can sit on coloured bases, so if I have 8x orcs, I'll have a blue/red/yellow/green/.... etc base that makes it easy for people to call out "I'll hit the red orc" I need a way to add custom tags to mobs in the encounter builder that aligns with what is on my table.
At the moment, if I add 8 x Orcs, they get labelled as Orc (A), Orc (B) etc.
So you can establish a colour to letter, that's a simple work around. Alternatively, you could add letter labels to your bases, or get additional bases for your minis.
As the current response stands, WoTC isn't even looking at providing an update to the Encounter Builder to give 2024 difficulty stats, let alone continue new features.
Last night I started 3d printing new bases with letters. Not quite as easy to see around the table vs. colours. So I may revert to a colour = letter conversion but keep that to myself - I don't want to confuse the group any more than I have to.
