I there gonig to be an option to re-prepare spells when we hit long rest button for those classes that has this option instead of the manage spells option which is not connected to the long rest now?
How do you see this functioning? Currently you go into the the manage spells after you long rest and reselect the spells you want. How would a “long rest for spells prepared” work differently?
With a "builder interface" popping up. Just like at character generation.
But why? How would that be easier than what is being done now? You just got to the spell part of the character sheet and deselect your spells. Not need to go anywhere else no need to reload a page.
just go to spells section and deselect your spells without going back to the character builder.
Arcane recovery can restore any number of spells up to a total level which varies depending on the wizard level of the character. If you can restore up to level 3, you could restore 3 level ones, a level 1 and a level 2, or a level 3. There's so many variables that it's simpler to just uncheck the relevant spell slots manually. I don't see it getting simpler any time soon, enough for it to be associated with checking off arcane recovery.

I see. Now that you mentioned it, you make a good point.

Also different problem: arcane recovery should restore spell slots.
