Under the Add Items section, consider adding a Button that says Buy instead of just Add. The button would grey out and disable if the character does not have the required currency available and clicking it would subtract the value from the Currency tab.
Right now it is a real hassle to open an item listing to see the cost, add it, and change over to the currency tab to make the manual adjustments for every item.
Extra helpful would be a Sell option in addition to Remove Item. Clicking it would add half the cost of the mundane item to the Currency.
You are not the first one to suggest this, you won't be the last.
What about the different currency types? Do you not haggle? Does your DM never make some items cheaper or pricier according to location? What about the multiple different currency types?
In order to make a perfect system for this you would have to click buy, have an adjustable price that just defaults to listed price, have a menu pop up to select which coins you pay with and what change you get back, then confirm.
In the end it becomes days of coding to make a pop up that retrieves and modifies info from 2 different places that you still have to go through most of the same steps you have to currently (more even if you change the price).
And simplified, 1-button version would still require you to manage your coins manually as it would require exact change, and qould only be used by half or so players (I personally have never bought or sold a single item at listed price in d&d as a player or DM (I roll for market flux)).
