One of the things we have been doing a lot in one of the campaigns I am running is Enlightening animals and then I have been giving them character classes (Giant Rat Rogue, and Brown Bear Barbarian)
While we have the option to make custom creatures based on current creatures (great!), a feature that I thnk would be cool to add is to be able to simply add character classes to existing creatures. IMHO, this would look similiar to the character builder, which may also fit in with an NPC builder.
While that would be a suitable workaround, would that not be in a character slot instead of a monster slot? It would not work with future features like combat tracking, etc.
Myself I would love just a simple NPC generator. I know i can make a random PC fast, Bit I would just love it if on my PC page if i could click a button make NPC. Then just fill in some personality stuff and when ready have a Make public option, that con put in a DR based on class level and such.

Thoughts?
Unless I'm mistaken, homebrew races will eventually be a thing. So you could eventually create a homebrew race and then, of course, add levels to it.
