"Destructive wave" is an example of a spell that carries two damage types that are both inflicted on the enemy.
Currently, when you roll damage for the spell it only rolls damage for thunder damage and doesn't include the second roll for the radiant/necrotic damage.
Granted we can just roll the dice by clicking the damage twice, but it would be nice if it just showed both rolls by clicking once.
The other issue is, that if you look at the spell in the spell list, you might think it only does 5d6 damage instead of 5d6 thunder and 5d6 radiant/necrotic damage. Some people might miss that part if they don't click on the spell to see the full description.
This also includes the spell "Ice Knife" that does both piercing and ice damage. it only shows the 1d10 piercing damage but doesn't give the 2d6 ice damage from the explosion. in the case of "Ice Knife" you actually have to roll the 2d6 separately as that's not even a choice to click on the spell.
"Ice Storm" Does both bludgeoning and ice damage and only lets you roll for the initial Bludgeoning damage and you will then need to manually roll for the ice damage.
It would be really nice if after click for the first damage type it then prompted us to roll for the second damage type or automatically rolled the secondary damage type as well.
Meteor Storm also falls into this category.
I know that there are not a lot of spells that do this but there are enough that it would be nice if we didn't have to roll both damage types or were prompted to roll the second damage type.

I think this is a planned feature and D&D Beyond just hasn't finished it yet.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
