Good catch. Can confirm, checked the text of the PHB as well (because there could have been a mismatch between that and the class page) and the PHB has the same issues.
EDIT: Looked again as an afterthought. Proficiencies are correct. The more restrictive weapons are Monk weapons that count for Martial Arts, not general proficiencies.

ModeratorYeah, monks are indeed proficient with hand crossbows, even if they don’t count as Monk Weapons.
