With all those discussions it is about time they add a race with four arms. :D
But while we only have two: you can always stow your weapon (Object Interaction), cast a spell and in the next round draw your weapon again and make an attack.
If you don't like the mental image of putting away and drawing your weapon every 12 seconds, just imagine your character has a chain connecting the weapon with their wrist and that allows them to quickly drop the weapon, do the arcane gestures and get the weapon back. :-)
