I am a veteran DM and roleplayer from Scandinavia, I have played ttrpg for over 20 years and most of the time as a DM. At the moment I am looking for more groups to play D&D 5E(2014) with on Roll20, game is Wednesdays CET 8:00 Pm.
We will make all characters in session zero as a group
Game take place in Faerun and I use the lore from that setting. We are located in the area around Neverwinter to start with and the adventure will take the characters far and wide.
The Campaign We start of at low level with the campaign Dragon of Ice Spire Peak and follow with the expansions, and elements from The Shattered Obelisk will be present in the first part of the adventure.
Modules are modified a bit with the players backstories and the characters journeys. Players can expect personal arc's embeded in the campaign. For that reason backstory and character traits are important.
Characters
In Dragons of Icespire peak we won't play the pre-generated charecters. You will make your own characters. Think a bit on your backstory, I will check in on each and every player with a few questions prior to start of campaign.
Official material up until Tasha's Cauldron can be used. (Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Volo's, Guide to Monsters, Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide and so on)
Multiclass is ok, once per character. I would prefer if you spin it into the game.
Roll for gold
Keep track of their backstory and traits.
House Rules: Drink potion uses a bonus action, not an Action. Using a Scroll counts as a Action (using an item) so Bonus action can be used to cast spells. Spells like Phantasmal Force/illusion's can not impose a Condition if not stated in description. It can however have the same effect. But technically the victim does not get the condition. Flanking in combat give advantage. GM decide when flanking come into play. Familiars / Summon's act on casters turn. Death saves are whispered.
Make a note on yourself, your age and D&D and other ttrpg experience.
1. Who are you? Describe yourself shortly.
2. Have you played D&D before, and/or have you played any other ttrpg?
3. In general, what would you like to roleplay in a longer campaign. Explain the character and goals.
4. What makes a good group in your opinion?
5. Why you are looking for a steady group.
And if there is anything else you want people to know about you note it down here!
