Balen looks good. I added the shield he took from the dungeon, and forgot about the net he took. I bumped him down one oil flask to account for the one used during the last encounter.
It looks like he now has a book on his person as well. This book wasn't found in a dungeon was it? I can't remember ...

Unless we need it for something, why don't we try to sell that silver chain in town before we return to the dungeon? Maybe we could get 100 gp of supplies, like replacement oil flasks and such, instead.
@Samhain Hey, could Ichep have retrieved some kind of journal from Faen's remains? A diary of sorts, something about his life. Ichep would like to know more about him and it would make it more interesting when he eventually encounters fey (who he currently has absolutely no opinion of). It's merely for fluff.
During periods of downtime for this tale, I will be deducting the cost of a modest lifestyle expense for each day spent in town. The amount will be 1gp per day. This will account for lodging and all of your meals. During roleplay, do not ever feel like you have to account for each mug of ale or bowl of soup ... you can just assume these types of mundane things are paid for.
Also, everything in this tale in terms of loot / prices will be represented by gp. [I'd rather not deal with the headache of tracking sp and cp]
@Miglasezis, @SunDial ... I know you had a lower lifestyle expense marked on your sheet ... but them's the breaks. Being an adventurer can get expensive.
@Kisarali, I know you had a higher lifestyle expense marked on your sheet. You are free to keep it at 2gp per day if you wish, and can maintain a comfortable lifestyle.
Since we haven't met these NPC's 'on screen' as it were, I'd like to get a quick scene put together for any of these initial downtime activities.
Once we've got an established relationship to draw upon, I don't mind if future mundane transactions occur off-screen. ("I travel to Rothgar's shop and buy a sword.")
Toads would like to sell 10 of 11 gems and keep 1. Then take that 1 gem to someone with arcane knowledge if there is anyone and examine it.
For that money Id like to help our new wizzard with component purchases and craft a healing potion with my herbalism kit. I believe I could know enough to find everything in nature. If no, i would purchase those
... Split evenly, ask for investors, item loot divided by who wants it or case by case basis.
I will let you guys solve this puzzle organically. For reference, with a modest lifestyle, 30gp is equivalent to a decent monthly salary.
(or, for the hermit types and folks that live under boats ... if I were allowing them to be homeless vagabonds ... it would be about a year's living expenses.)
If you do opt to divide the wealth, I have already 'cashed out' Faen's portion and awarded that to Rinn during the elven wizard's CharGen.
When Rinn joined the party in other words, he was created with an amount of wealth equivalent to what Faen would have possessed had he survived the encounter and you guys split everything equally.
Between the five current characters, there are now essentially 6/5ths of the loot in your pockets.

I did this as a hedge against the party potentially cutting the new PC out of any shares
(not that you guys are jerks, I see it as completely understandable IC, as the wizard basically showed up just as the delve was coming to an end ... so I find it totally believable IC to not offer Rinn a share of what the others had fought and died for in the dungeon).
I think Yaudara would use the money gained from the chain to purchase healing potions for the party, so that'd be my suggestion for what to do with the 100 gp. We can do that as a scene, like you said.

I would be okay with using money on healing potions even before my diamond, if that's what we opt to do. I have other damage dealing magic (e.g., magic missile), so ensuring that our characters survive to get even more gold and XP, I think it makes sense as an investment.
@Kisarali yes. I'll try to come up with something in terms of a small summary of a journal, or perhaps another way you can piece things together.
I think that may be a nice way for things to "echo" through the story.
Also, I specifically have his viol be of Fey make (non-magical) so there's a bit of fluff already.
Also, OMG, I laughed so hard when I read Ichep's reaction to Rachael. And, as with all felines, she definitely thinks of herself as a goddess, and thus will be grateful for the recognition.

That's a-okay! In the story Balen put his canoe (basically his house) next to the inn so I bet the innkeeper found it or something and was like 'hey you can't just park your boat on my land and now you gotta pay rent' now he gotta pay rent. reminds me of when I was younger. I hate landlords :(

Toadstool in general can carry everything.

He is sketching stuff all the time

Sounds good.

For the current game day, there will be no lifestyle expenses. The baron provided your lodging and food at no cost.
Regarding downtime, is there anything folks would like to do prior to heading back to the dungeon?
If the party doesn't have a use for it, I'd like to look for a place to sell the chain. The money's probably more useful than carrying that weight.
Sounds good.

This will take one day and consume 25gp worth of materials.
^^ Alternatively, they are available for purchase in town, as is any gear from the PHB. (50gp ea.)
