Does anyone have suggestions for a good low level DMs Guild adventure that would work for 1 player who will have an NPC companion? (Paging party of two!)
I was going to run three players on a Yawning Portal adventure his weekend during a get away, but two of the players can't make it and I don't want to ruin the Yawning Portal adventures by racing through them with one player.
You could just make something up and adjust the encounters to maybe be survivable. Make a basic village and have some ruins to explore. It can be fun to do. Draw up a crude map and see where it takes you.

Awesome. Hey let me know how it is. I do have one that is in the art work stage to be released sometime in June that would have worked but I don't want to give anything away just yet.

Will do! Playing this weekend during our beach trip.
Is the adventure you mentioned one you made?
The one I am working on to publish is a solo or group adventure that is a little more in-depth that what I used as a simple start up adventure. I'm kind of big on story telling so I wanted to have more of a story and plenty of chances to meet and interact with the locals.
Also included is a couple of hirelings which were often included in older adventures. These are huge help when dealing with a solo player. They are also good to help drive a story forward.
Writing an adventure has always been easy for me but when I sat down and began this project I soon realized my art skills are extremely lacking. I make awesome stick figures.
I've started the art and I picked up a few books on drawing and it has improved a ton. Hopefully enough to be semi accepted. LOL!

Some of my favorite art in D&D is from the old books, and by regular standards it's "not good". It has its own style though. Everyone can develop their own unique and interesting art, even if it's not good to the societal norms!

Anyhow, what do you recommend from DMs Guild?

That's usually what I like to do. But for this I didn't have time.
I did find a pretty good adventure for what I needed though. It's an M.T. Black adventure, one of his new ones. Beneath the Ruins of Firestone Keep.

Can't wait to see what you publish!
