Members of D and D beyond and fellow DM's I need your always impressive, always magical and most importantly ........ helpful advice once again! I am doing my best to DM it up these days and I want to take on more than one campaign I think but I am having a problem. I hate my battle map software. It just sucks all the fun out of DM life. I need a new one that is easy to use and has lots of options. Doesn't have to be free either but need to be able to somehow be compatible with Roll 20. The current program I am using is Dungeon painter studio and yes I did try the new beta version and did not like it.

I recommend Dungeondraft. You can import the Forgotten Adventures assets into DD and create great looking maps.
Theres a few free mapping sites that you could try:
https://probabletrain.itch.io/dungeon-scrawl - Dungeon Scrawl is like MS Paint for dungeons. It allows quick and easy map painting via a browser
http://gozzys.com/ - Grozzys has a series of automatic map generators (forest, dungeon and cave) plus a gallery of free maps you can download
https://donjon.bin.sh/d20/dungeon/ - a random dungeon generator
I've only briefly looked at each, so don't have any review to share, but as they are free it doesn't hurt to have a play.
