I have created everything needed for an introduction sessions. (Which were done this week.) Sessions went smooth and it was my first time as a DM. In overall i have made little intro stories for each player character (they were open and were giving player a lot of choices of getting into the place where all players would meet up later. These stories are telling players how did they appear in a City and it's area while letting them make some little choices on the way, with that they could get to "feel the game". Choices like selecting route and way of traveling (on water or on foot).
All characters in overall had two days only to appear in the city. (I have made distance possible to achieve in this time period, but with little tension because of the timer itself. It's pretty simple stuff like "This contract is urgent blah blah, you have 2 days to report or Contract will be unavailable." These little intros were separate sessions so new players could get into game mechanics and not have to worry about not getting game time because of other players getting more time. It was their first time playing D&D in overall. Now all of them have appeared in the area and the main story of campaign our can begin. I have created universe with all thing necesarry to make it interesting, however for now it's on pretty basic level since characters are just lvl1 characters, when they will get better i will expand the universe for them of course. And i will be making models of cities or just areas to make game more immersive.
However with all of that i have one simple question.
HOW TO GET ALL OF THE NECESARRY THINGS IN ONE PLACE?
I have books of course. However i wonder if there is a good organiser or some already pre-made list/template with all necesarry stuff. Of course i have my DM Screen etc but it doesn't feature every basic thing tbh. And i dont think that running trough 3 books each 20 minutes is great idea, especially for players. (Other problem is that not all players know english well so we're keeping it to our language. So basic rulebook from Essentials isn't really working here because it's in English and it wasn't translated to my Language.)
Do you have any way of sorting stuff or some organizers that have all necesarry mechanics written? Any templates or pre-made lists (for DM and Players)? I would be very thankful if you would share your way of making DM'ing and Playing easier.
I personally use a bullet journal-like method. I have a journal that I make notes in, that I glue photocopied/printed information from, etc. I store all the lore and tables and whatever I fancy in my journal. For running a session, I have adapted to having a single sheet where I write some areas and things that might happen (which half of the time lead to the same thing lmao) and any monster stats. Right now I use this fancy template I made myself, which is below. I made it on canva. Please don't question the names of things... this is my one session sheet for a game I DM for young teens.

Some folks have started using Obsidian.md note organiser - there's a lot of work with creating stat blocks, map management, etc. which could work well as a campaign organiser.
Oh this is a really interesting program. I like that its on Windows and Android. I never heard of this before, so I might check it out for my PBP games. My live games means my irl journal works very well, but its a pain when I forget to bring my journal with me everywhere when I am trying to update PBP games.

The advantage with an electronic journal is that you can link things together - or search for "automatic" links, where you can link any reference to a note based on its name being found in other notes.

They can be found on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/obsidianttrpgusers) and on Discord in the tabletop-games channel of the Obsidian Members Group (OMG).
