I've been tinkering away here on my campaign with some friends, and I wanted to see how other people use the campaign page for D&DBeyond?
Currently, I've created a bunch of the world information in GMBinder and then create images of each page and insert it into the main campaign information page. While I enjoy the more curated look I get from this, I wish there was a slightly more efficient way to do it.
Because I use a bunch of tweaked, expanded, and homebrew rules I use a link in the DM notes to the GMBinder page for those updates.
Any advice on how to improve the efficiency/look? Ways you like to use the campaign hub page? Would love to hear about it!
I don’t have a good answer but hoping some people can give me some great ideas as I look to improve the online content that surrounds my games.
i run some Roll20 games and am not sure which is better to use to host game notes and the like for players -the Roll20 forum for each game, a DnD Beyond Campaign info page and thread or so,etching bespoke in blog or website form.
Well, at least for me what I said above is how I'm currently doing it.
Creating all the world information + a brief campaign recap in GMBinder and then photoshopping them together into fewer images and so they have a more "parchment" crinkled page look. The photoshop part of it is still in progress, but yeah.
We play mostly theatre of the mind anyway so it's a great hub for world information, but it is quite labour intensive to do it this way. Hopefully it will look nice once it's all done though!
After going back and forth about it roll20 seems like it's just almost as much trouble as it's worth, honestly. Obviously, it's very powerful, but the way I like to run my games it seems like too much of a mechanical hurdle for the benefit.

Keen to see some examples.
