The item as far as the character sheet for the player goes would just be a club +x, everything else on their sheet is just flavor.
You on the other hand have to do things, like act out its voice and roll on a chart for random effect on hit, depending on the "level" of the sword" ect.. all of this is just what I gather from the wiki article on it, as I haven't run Kingmaker.
But, basically it seems all the milestones and changes to the Briar are set out by the module itself, so it isn't like you need dnd 5e rules to shape those things .. they are already per-determined. So, you don't have to covert any stats/abilities just lifts straight out of PE into DnD in this case, placing all the work on the DM :) (is my best guess)
is there a specific property you are having trouble with? or a specific interaction you need help converting?
