I see all these cool maps, and I’d love to put that in my campaign, but I’m not sure how. Mobile adds so many difficulties to that sort of business. I’m using discord and rolling for everyone so as to speed up play, but I just can’t decide what to do about maps, or prop images.
I mean, Roll20 works on mobile and works just fine for playing, but it'd be very difficult to actually set things up on it without a computer. I don't know of anything else.
Always view Character Sheets in mobile format, but for posting on the forums using your browser settings change to desktop format.
To post an image you need a website to load the image to. I use imgur or dA. Copy the link and insert the link using the picture icon on the tools section of the forum post.
Learn how to make rolls manually by reading the roll section of the forum. You will not need to use it often, but it's good to know.
The only thing I haven't been able to do on mobile is check the dice rolls. That said you can see if a player used the correct roll by going to their profile, and then look at their posts.
As this is over 2 year old, I don't know if you still need any of this, but if you have more questions just shoot me an PM.
Oh, one more tip. If you are making a long post and need to flip between different browser tabs or apps either copy your already writing text, or post and then edit the post. This isn't very important for a new phone, but as the ram get older browser pages will start to refresh sometimes when you go back to it from a different page or app.
I’ve learned most of that in the last couple years, but I only DM on discord, so the image/rolling issues are negligible. It’s getting a map that I can edit easily but still looks nice that I struggle with
I build my maps in GIMP on my computer, with different layers for each room or section.
If you are using a premade map, it's just taking time making the layers. If however you are making a map from scratch, I'd suggest using old fashioned graph paper and than scanning it onto a computer.
Then I edit the maps on my phone (android) with PicsArt.
There are also some fairly simple dungeon creation apps. Here are some I've used in the past, I really didn't like them, but in a pinch are workable. Again these are Android

I do everything on mobile. Here are a few tricks.

I should probably stick to graph paper. I’ve used dry erase boards, scratch paper, and one time: my kids’ kinetic sand (that was actually cool).

Thanks, appreciate the tips

I am more concerned with the fact that I can’t even make a custom campaign on D&D beyond
