Im running Princes of the Apocalypse for a group, but I don’t really know the first thing to running a campaign. I’ve read the book, and they’ve made their characters now what do I do?
Now you get them together and begin to tell the story. There are usually plot hook suggestions at the beginning of every adventure module, giving you a way to tie all the characters together. Or you can come up with one on your own. This is where your imagination and storytelling skills come into play. Describe the scenery where the characters meet, let them introduce and describe their characters, and let them interact a little bit before introducing the catalyst for their next action.
