I'm running a one shot soon at my flgs to promote my wife's new book. I need to create about 6 character's for the people playing. Usually, when running a one shot I would still have the players create characters. But, I won't know who is playing until the day of.
Any advice on making a bunch of characters for random people?
The easiest way to do it is to go to Character Builder. Select 'quick build'. At this point all you have to have them do is select the race and class combo. Have them add a name and your good to go with a quick, easy and print ready level one character. This method picks the easiest version of a class to use (life Cleric, Champion Fighter, Evocation Wizard, Etc...), so it is ideal for beginners. It also starts them out with a background, basic equipment, and money.
