My sister has been learning how to draw maps (which is great, I'm not allowed to draw). She really enjoyed my Ark: Comedy Devolved three-shot(?) and would like to see me pick it up again. She's been drawing the map for the Ark. That's one less thing I have to do for the game. She gets my input and does the hard work.
This was Perkidanman's response to the first session. Her character was Ruby. She's also a really good artist.
The only thing missing from the picture is a triceratops head peaking in from the right side of the picture.
Get your players to draw the maps of the area. The better the maps, the easier time they'll have to find things. Have them create the NPCs and provide them with personalities and backstories. Have them create legends and stories, so you'll know what they're looking for. Don't break your own back making all that up, outsource!
Any way to get players more involved and turn it into a shared-collaborative-storytelling experience is great !
(at least from my point of view). Not all games are like that.

I would be Mark’s sister. He told me to go ahead and post the finished map.
