I'm running a mashup of homebrew bits and pieces. I have a balanced party of 5 member, all 10th level. I'd like to put them in a gladiator-type fight with 10 opponents. What might they face 10 of that would be challenging, possibly damaging, but that they'd most likely succeed against?
I'm assuming you mean humanoids. I think it might be fun if you paired them up against enemies that have similar abilities to them, but I don't know what classes they are.

All stars fade. Some stars forever fall. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Homebrew (Mostly Outdated):Magic Items,Monsters,Spells,Subclasses ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there was no light, people wouldn't fear the dark.
I'd like some more details before offering any suggestion, because it can greatly impact what flavor I would go for.
Is the idea for it to be a group of captured monsters intended to be fought to the death? Or are they facing off against another group of gladiators? Also.. is the idea to fight to the death or just a friendly match to unconsciousness?
I would recommend a gladiator and a scout against the barbarian, a priest and a blood hunter (obviously) against the bloodhunter, a knight and priest against the cleric, a bard and a bandit captain against the bard, and an assassin and a berserker against the rogue. Keep in mind that this will be a very challenging fight, with each character facing a foe similar to them as well as one that does things they can't. The gladiator can duel the barbarian in melee while the scout strikes from range, the blood hunter can match the bloodhunter while the priest heals them and attack from a range, the priest can engage the cleric via magic while the knight rapidly chips away at their hit points, the bard can distract the tiefling bard with a dance off while the bandit captain attacks, and the assassin and rogue will skirmish each other while the berserker pins down the rogue.

Oh that's grand, I like that a lot! Thanks, that could turn out to be quite an event. I was originally thinking about a kind of unified band of 10 things of the same kind, but this might work much better, thank you.

Hi folks--

More details:
Probably fight to to the death but the party or opponents can always decide to be merciful.
It would be the party against a group of captives. All humanoids.
Party consists of a half-goliath barbarian, halfling blood hunter, firbolg cleric, tiefling bard, dreamland cat (from cthulhu 5e) rogue.
I would recommend a gladiator and a scout against the barbarian, a priest and a blood hunter (obviously) against the bloodhunter, a knight and priest against the cleric, a bard and a bandit captain against the bard, and an assassin and a berserker against the rogue.
