The party has been in a dungeon with alot of mirror centric traps and puzzles. They now find themselves isolated in tight quarters with a mirrored floor. All of them have had a mirror image of themselves enter the room to fight them.
I'm trying to figure out if I should just copy the chars stats for these enemies or use some blend if Doppleganger, Mirror Fiend, and Mirror Hag stats.
Any insight would be helpful. They'll for sure be taunted with their backstories as they fight.
I wouldn't bother with that at all. Just use the rules from the Phantasmal Force spell and just give them each a good cinematic fight. Then, when you think they've done enough "damage" or other means of beating their double, just have the spell end.
